Word of Faith Delusion

Riches and prosperity are first and foremost spiritual, not monetary (Joshua 1:8; Ephesians 1:3). CHRIST is our riches! The goal of God in sending His only begotten Son to die for us, was not to make His people rich in this fleeting world. No, that would contradict His clear teachings - of keeping us safe from soul-damning covetousness, greed, and hoarding (Matthew 10:23-25; Luke 12:15-21; 16:19-31, etc.).  THE only people who are sucked in by the money "gospel" are those who have not truly repented and are still full of greed, covetousness, and love for this fleeting, sinful world (2 Timothy 4:2-4) Paul warns of "another Jesus" (2 Corinthians 11:2-5). So if following Jesus includes becoming rich in this sinful world, what "jesus" are you following? - because the Son of God revealed in Holy Scripture chose to make Himself poor in His earthly life and warned us all about coveting and becoming rich int his brief life. Mark 10:23-25, etc. Following Jesus cannot possibly include getting rich (retaining a lot of money and possessions) in this world because neither Christ nor His holy apostles did such. They were poor in this world by choice.
