Home Truth

ARE YOU a man of truth? "Buy the truth, and sell it not." (Proverbs 23:23) WHO does the truth/Son make free? 1. Those who hear it, OR, 2. Those who hear and obey it? (John 8:31-32, 36; James 1:22; 1 John 3:18) The truth is the occasion for some to believe and some to reject - it is the sword of division. This is a bless-ed division. - "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." (Matthew 10:34) .... Paul informed us that in the divine economy, heresy has its place - to separate: "For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you." (1 Corinthians 11:19) Truth - Do I love it? Am I "valiant for the truth"? (Jeremiah 9:3) GET to know this passage! You will need it in these final days. - "Open rebuke is better than secret love. 6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful." Prov 27:5-6 Many claiming to be God's children wouldn't know Jesus if He stood in their face. It's obvious in that they betray He who is "the truth." (John 14:6) He says they are "not of God" in that they do not hear and heed His Word (John 8:47). They seek to accommodate the sin of the fallen in this world so that they can gain the world's approval while blasphemously rebelling against the LORD they claim to know and serve.

Those who run from the light of truth choose to remain in darkness and damnation (John 3:19-21; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).
Let the truth plunder and brutalize us! Make we be truly broken by it in repentance! It's the moral coward ("fearful" Rev 21:8). Read Hosea 10:12.
The truth is divine, immutable, and and it marching on-with or without you! "I'd rather be rebuked by truth than to be pampered by lies that lead to destruction." Rich Brown
