The Kisses of an Enemy are Deceitful [podcast]

Even false teachers are to be rebuked “sharply” in order that they might be blessed to repent and “that they may be sound in the faith.”

“This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.” Titus 1:13

Rebuke is always for the purpose of restoration – to prevent eternal condemnation! If we examine and judge ourselves, submitting afresh to the LORD daily in repentance, He will not be forced to send a Nathan in our lives with an open rebuke (1 Corinthians 11:31-32; 2 Corinthians 13:5). See 2 Samuel 11-12. | The God of Restoration!

“Open rebuke is better than secret love. 6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” Proverbs 27:5-6

“A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!” Proverbs 15:23

The words we speak in due season, timely words flowing from a heart God is filling with His love, are going to produce the divinely ordained results (Isaiah 55:11).

“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:” Ephesians 4:15

“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles (written Word) of God.” 1 Peter 4:11

WALKING IN GOD’S LOVE CAN NEVER BE SEPARATED FROM WALKING IN GOD’S TRUTH! THEY ARE DIVINELY, ETERNALLY MARRIED! DON’T YOU DARE CLAIM TO BE WALKING IN GOD’S LOVE IF YOU ARE NOT SPEAKING GOD’S TRUTH (EPHESIANS 4:15; PROVERBS 12:17; 27:5-6).
