Let Your Loyalty
be on Christ’s
—-THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT SAINTS. Seems to be what the Holy Spirit is speaking to Christ’s people (Revelation 2-3). Many are being misled and robbed out of the treasures of Christ, “the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27) Please share.
In this next verse, the word “spoil” means to seduce and to lead away as booty (as spoil of war).
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Colossians 2:8
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: 29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.” Colossians 1:27-29
“Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.” Colossians 2:18-19
Pour prayerfully over Colossians 1-2.
ALL Bible teaching is rooted deep and divinely ordained in unshakable strength in the truth of relationship. Yes, relationship between God and His people – the whole reason He made us. This paramount biblical truth must never be varied or erred from. No, instead it must be at the foundation and forefront of all Gospel communications.
