WHO is the True Heaven Bound Bride of Christ? [podcast]

Jesus’ True Bride is in Love with Him

Wedding Bells

THE WEDDING BELLS ARE RINGING! Do you hear the wedding bells beloved of God? There are few things so beautiful as a bride who eagerly awaits, prepares for and revels in the joy of marrying her bridegroom. This is all by divine design and is a picture of the true body, the bride of Christ that joyfully and eagerly prepares for the return of our Bridegroom from Heaven (Matthew 25:1-13; Ephesians 5:25-27; Revelation 19:7-10).

The pure in heart have been “sprinkled from an evil conscience” and washed with the pure water of Christ (Hebrews 10:22). They have been cleansed from all sin by the blood of Christ (1 John 1:7). Only the pure in heart shall see God face to face (Matthew 5:8, Revelation 22:4), they are the very ones who are fully known by Him (1 Corinthians 13:12). These true disciples of Christ have made themselves ready and to her will be “granted that she be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the linen is the righteous of the saints”. And she is called into the marriage supper of the lamb (Revelation 19:7-9). Alleluia! The Lord continues to strip me of all filthiness. Job moments as He is testing my faith. Just as He did with Peter asking Him three times ‘do you love Me?’ John 21: 15:17. My family is now persecuting me and one by one I am having to walk away. The Lord says, ‘do you love Me? If everyone leaves will you still love Me? Where is your faith, in them or Me?’ I answer ‘Yes Lord I love You! Even though You slay me yet will I trust You’ (Job 13:15)” Karen Cochran

He’s getting ready to take His bride to the place of refuge – forever! Revelation 21

The true Bride of Christ is washing the feet of their Bridegroom – they are poor in spirit, ever desperate for more of Christ, hearts filled with thanksgiving for His unfathomable mercy upon them (Titus 3:5-7).

“When the woman came to the Pharisees house with the alabaster box she washed Jesus’ feet with her tears, kissed, and anointed them with the ointment. Simon complained and said, doesn’t he know she is a sinner? Jesus said, this woman from the time I came in here has not stopped kissing my feet. Her sins, which are many, are forgiven, therefore she loves much (Luke 7:36-50).

This woman was deeply indebted to Jesus and knew He had forgiven her many sins. Her washing and kissing Jesus’ feet was an act of worship. Jesus said, this woman loves me much because she knows how much she is forgiven. She loved her Lord with all her heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37) and was extremely grateful for the mercy Jesus extended to her.” Karen Cochran

Who will be shut out of the eternal bridal chamber?

WHO are the hell bound “fearful” in Revelation 21:8?

“Fearful” here means cowardly. The “fearful” are all who decided not to make the absolute decision to put Jesus first – as their “FIRST love” and so refused to truly repent, live life on their own terms, refused to surrender, deny self, and take up the cross daily (Luke 9:23-24). Jesus wasn’t important enough to them to make the quality, absolute, non-negotiable decision to stop their life in this fleeting world and repent and surrender to Him. This accounts for over 90% of the people who claim to be Christians today, who are good church members. Let’s take a look:

“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:7-8

These same counterfeits show who they truly serve by their decisions and will have no excuse on that Day. They had decided to pay rent or mortgage monthly, and to pay all kinds of non-essentials, and yet refused to plant their feet and declare that Jesus Christ was King, LORD, and Master of their life in this world.

Jesus wasn’t kidding when He declared:

“He that is not with me IS against me.” Matthew 12:30

IMAGINE any sane man marrying a woman who isn’t absolutely enthralled in him, in him alone, above all other men. See Matthew 25:1-13.

Perhaps we all know or have known a couple who are absolutely enthralled with each other. Their lives are inseparably intertwined, permanently glued together. Their eyes glitter when they look at each other. My parents are 85 and 83, and this is the case.

Is this not the picture of Christ and His bride?

With this in mind, should we not pause to ponder why, just why would any sane person believe in vain that Christ, the Great Bridegroom of Heaven, would ever bring to His glorious eternal abode any person who hasn’t freely chosen to love Him supremely in this earthly life?

He simply would not and will not.

Is Christ our very “first love”? (Revelation 2:4-5)

It simply doesn’t matter the excuse one may use, the fact that a person will not lay it all down in repentance and commit to Christ, proves they don’t love Him. They love themselves. He sees it all. Nothing escapes His holy divine eyes! (Proverbs 15:3)

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:21-23

Wolves can be known in that they don’t get their prey in the Word for themselves (2 Timothy 2:15).

Going to be entertained on Sunday mornings as what some call “church” does not replace daily Bible reading and prayer and the cross (Luke 9:23-24; 2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Thessalonians 5:17, etc.).

Anyone not in God’s Word and living a life of prayer every day as they seek His holy face fervently, has told the LORD that He is not important to them, and they will not make it (Matthew 25:1-13).

There is NO work, no-thing transpiring on the earth more important than the work of our LORD’s Gospel. Most of the other things are vying for your affections. Read Luke 21 and Colossians 3:1-4. JESUS is coming.

“When you focus on this World you will leave Jesus behind.
When you focus on Jesus you will leave this World behind.” Sam Lingerfeldt

The only way for you to walk in success is to begin your day laying the foundation in prayer and in His Word, with intimate moments with Him alone who holds your success in his hands (Joshua 1:8). Are you dwelling in the secret place of the Most High – OR are you building your life on sinking sand? (Psalms 91:1)

“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15-16

YOUR PRAYER: LORD, please make me holy as You are Holy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
