God’s Covenant with Noah with the Sign of the Rainbow

JESUS CHRIST never has nor ever will “understand” or accept the abomination of homosexuality. Get a clue dupe. Repent now you filthy devil. ANY and ALL who condone homosexuality are an “abomination” to God (Leviticus 18:22).

“And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:” Genesis 9:14

After the building of the ark (Noah’s ark) and the flood which killed all but 8 souls, soon as the waters subsided, the LORD made a covenant with Noah and his family, a covenant of promised blessings which extends to us by the providential hand of God today in Christ.

If you don’t stand WITH God, you stand against Him.

The “abomination” of homosexuality is condemned of God. Shut your mouth and agree with God or suffer the vengeance of eternal fire, coward. Time to man up and get a spine. Leviticus 18:22 anyone? Read Romans 1.

It’s time for “old school” MEN to stand up and speak the truth. Such as “MEN CAN’T GET PREGNANT OR HAVE BABIES” IGNORAMUS! Stand up and SPEAK, now. Fetus’ are babies and anyone agreeing with their murder is a demonic enemy of God. Repent now and obey God. Speak His truth, His Word.

God’s Covenant with Noah

Genesis 9 – The Noahic Covenant

God: I will take care of you and your family I will never judge the world by flood again. The rainbow will be a reminder of my covenant. 5 Covenants: Noah Abraham Moses David Jesus

Only 8 souls were saved through the flood – Noah and his family.

God is now reinstating to the only humans on the earth at that time, that they were to have dominion and stewardship on the earth over the fishes, the fowls and all wildlife.

In this covenant with Noah, the LORD is revealing His providential mercy, destiny, His protection, His provision for His people. God’s rainbow was a sign which represents His mercy and His desire to bless mankind and not harm. The LORD is good in His desire to bless men and yet He is holy and just. Only those who repent and receive Christ for the forgiveness of their sins are His children (Acts 16:30-31; 20:21; Romans 10:9-10, 13, etc.).

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

When you study and obtain a thorough knowledge of the book of Genesis, you gain a foundation of understanding for the remainder of your life, and an understanding of the Creator and creation and the whole of Scripture. Genesis is the book of origins, the book of beginnings. Think foundation (Psalms 11:3).

Someone has noted:

“Genesis is very much a book about OUR own lives, the seven main characters representing advancing forms of life that can be found in God’s elect, from Adam (fallen human nature), to Cain and Abel (flesh and spirit), Noah (regeneration), Abraham (faith), Isaac (sonship), Jacob (service), and finally Joseph (the ruler in Christ’s image qualified through suffering).”—-A.D

Any person who does not thoroughly know the contents of the book of Genesis and the divine truths contained therein, does not have a sound foundation of biblical knowledge and understanding. How could anyone possibly claim a “higher education” and yet not have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the book of Genesis? Genesis means origins and every cardinal doctrine in God’s Word is found in Genesis, in at least seed form.

The first book in the Bible. It’s called Genesis. Noah had 3 sons of whom the whole earth was overspread after the flood that killed all but 8. His sons are Shem (eastern, Orientals, Jews), Ham (Africans), and Japeth (Caucasians). Genesis 6-10

Every time someone sees a rainbow, God intends for them to be reminded that though He flooded the earth and drowned all but 8 souls, He will never judge mankind using a flood of waters again.

As soon as the waters subsided, Noah sought the LORD and the LORD made a covenant (agreement with specific terms) with Him.

Gen 8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Gen 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Gen 9:11 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

Gen 9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

Gen 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

Gen 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

Gen 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and THE WATERS SHALL NO MORE BECOME A FLOOD TO DESTROY ALL FLESH.

Gen 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Gen 9:17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

Keep in mind that though the LORD will never destroy the earth again using the flood of waters, He surely will destroy it by fire. Read 2 Peter 3.

“Genesis 9:1-17

GOD’S COVENANT WITH NOAH

As the human race started afresh on its career, God blessed it, as at the first. God always stands with us in a new start. The prohibition against the use of blood in food is often repeated. See Lev_17:11; Act_15:29. In a very deep sense, the blood is the life. When we speak of being redeemed by the blood of Jesus, we mean that we have been saved by His sacrificed life. The blood maketh atonement for the soul. But while animal life might be used for food or sacrifice, human life was surrounded by the most solemn sanctions. A Covenant is a promise or undertaking resting on certain conditions, with a sign or token attached to it. The bow in the cloud, the Lord’s Supper, the wedding ring are signs and seals of their respective covenants. Never witness a rainbow without remembering that as God hath sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so He will not withdraw His kindness. See Isa 54:9.”

The significance of the rainbow by John Wesley:

Genesis 9:11

“There shall not any more be a flood – God had drowned the world once, and still it is as provoking as ever; yet he will never drown it any more, for he deals not with us according to our sins. This promise of God keeps the sea and clouds in their decreed place, and sets them gates and bars, Hitherto they shall come, Job_38:10-11. If the sea should flow but for a few days, as it doth twice every day for a few hours, what desolations would it make? So would the clouds, if such showers as we have sometimes seen, were continued long. But God by flowing seas, and sweeping rains, shews what he could do in wrath; and yet by preserving the earth from being deluged between both, shews what he can do in mercy, and will do in truth.”

Though God promised and covenanted to never again destroy the earth using a flood, that doesn’t negate that He is just and will judge each and every man for his life on earth. The LORD is called “the judge of all the earth” and will renovate the earth in the future by fire instead of water (Genesis 18:25; Psalms 94:2; 2 Peter 3). 2 Peter 3:3-13 reveals that the coming judgment of the earth and its people will be by fire instead of by water.

Jesus refers to how people were living before the flood of Noah and relates it to His return.

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matthew 24:36-39

Now, here in 2 Peter 3, the Holy Spirit brings back to our remembrance who the LORD judged the people of the earth who didn’t know Him by a water flood and how His future judgment on the wicked will be by fire.

The Day of the Lord Will Come

2 Pet 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 Pet 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

2 Marines on Mission in Mexico Depending on God’s Grace: Mission Mexico Part 33

UPDATE: Recently, you guys jumped in and ordered Bibles for sister Teri in FL. What a blessing!!!! As a result of your giving, 30 or more King James Bibles are on their way to Florida to bless the people in this kingdom outreach among English, Spanish, and bi-lingual people. We are blessed to minister the Word each weekend via technology. God is good. And you are supplying the saints to the glory of our King, Jesus.

WELL, last evening, again we ran out of tracts …. many being reached daily with our LORD’s bless-ed and glorious Gospel.

Manuel, father of 4 children, had lots of questions he was just waiting for the occasion to ask. God is working in this man’s life. He received ample portions of biblical truth. Oh and he accepted our invitation to pray for him before he left, and we did.

Jesus sends His disciples out two by two and so is the case with Mission Mexico (Luke 10:1). The market (mercado) was a field day this week, a target rich environment where many gladly receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And as usual, many stop everything they are doing to instantly open and read the JESUS tract. It’s stunning.

Though we “have no confidence in the flesh”, brother Mark is also a Marine veteran and on mission for King Jesus, something brother Mark has prayed to do for many years. So, by God’s grace and for His glory alone the work is at least somewhat approached with the “storm the beach” or “first in battle” mentality (ha). We glory is Christ alone! (Gal 6:14) Tempered with the grace of Christ and fruit of His Holy Ghost – fully dependent upon Christ (Galatians 5:22-23).

Our brother Mark is a “good soldier of Jesus Christ.” Please undertake to lift brother Mark in your daily prayer.

Mark was a 0311 grunt, a Marine scout and it shows in his strategic mapping and territorial tactics as he invades for Christ. Interestingly, a few years ago, the LORD impressed upon brother Mark’s heart that he would be ministering to the cartel. Stay tuned!

“WE are labourers TOGETHER with God” (1 Cor 3:9) and are now supporting a pastor in the Philippines who has been associated with the ministry for decades and is a faithful servant of the LORD. His name is Allan Abayon and I invite you to lift him in prayer. For now we are able to send him $100 month and welcome more support so this can be increased. God is able.

Chaplain Jay in south Texas (on the border) is in need of another shipment of the Authentic book in Spanish.

If I may add…. the prayerful goal is to have an additional $1,200 coming into the ministry monthly. For now I am personally supporting a portion of the ministry expenses and glad to do so. Yet it would be selfish to hog up more of the kingdom opportunity than is fair…..much more ministry opportunity is in need of attention. God is able and “God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Pharmacists Desire and Receive God’s Word

WHILE waiting for Mark last night, I was passing out JESUS tracts and speaking God’s Word to several people at a prominent 3-way intersection. On that corner there is an established pharmacy. After joyfully ministering to a lost soul, I turned around toward that pharmacy only to be staring straight into the face of a smiling older gentleman who was holding out his hands, desiring to hear the Gospel and obtain a JESUS tract. He had seen others receiving and so asked to know about Jesus. His son was standing there next to him, smiling also. They asked to receive the Gospel and they did. While the son opened and was reading the JESUS tract, the older gentleman, the father, was instructed in Spanish to go home and repent and receive JESUS and when he did he would receive new life in Christ!!!!

The elder gentleman, the father, later told me he’s started and was operating that pharmacy for decades and was going to retire and his son would take over….. yet God had a plan to save him before it’s too late!!! Oh what love! John 3:16-17

God is good saints!
Jesus is coming.

UPDATE: I went back by this pharmacy to see this man and his son and was gladly received with a big hug and they took a stack of JESUS tracts to distribute at their pharmacy.

Benjamin: Here’s a dear Christian man whom Mark and I fellowshipped with today. We had an idea he was a Christian when we saw the front and back of his shirt. Next week we are scheduled to get him a stack of JESUS tracts to distribute at his restaurant!!! Gospel Momentum.

This man Miguel was happy to know that God’s people in the USA would be pausing to lift him in prayer. – “WE are labourers TOGETHER with God.” (1 Cor 3:9)

Ephesians 3

17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart 19 who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 if so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”

Recently I ran across a sobering title for a video by a pastor. It read:

“They have the gospel backwards: Why are Christians so mean?”
