The 3 Primary Proofs of God [podcast]

The Wrath of God is Revealed from Heaven

What are the 3 Proofs, the Cardinal Witnesses of God?: Creation, Conscience, and Christ

God has clearly revealed Himself to mankind via His creation, the conscience He made men with, and the message of the glorious Gospel of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Romans 1.

We don’t have to try play God (Proverbs 3:5-7). These things are addressed in Romans 1 and 2. His people are called to “preach the Word” and He will do the rest (Mark 16:15; 2 Timothy 4:2). And YES, standing on both feet, on the authority of God’s Word, I agree with and am going to continue to preach that those who do not repent and believe upon Him are going to hell which will be cast into the lake of fire.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Mark 16:15-16

“Let GOD be true and every man a liar.” Rom 3:4

The argument using lost tribes and down syndrome children and how they aren’t accountable to God seems no different than the murderous sinner who says “we must allow all abortion because if not women will murder their babies with coat hangers.” God is just and 100% of earth’s people are drowning in His creation, have a conscience, and are therefore accountable to obey their Creator. Most of the peoples on His earth have His knowledge, His Word available to them (Matthew 24:14). Let’s let HIM be God concerning the others and simple obey His Great Commission command to preach His Word, His Gospel. He didn’t call us to do anything except obey Him, never to attempt to play God.

“Prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.” Amos 4:12

God Commands Repentance because Judgment Day is Coming

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man (Christ Jesus) whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.” Acts 17:30-31

Wrath of God

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” Romans 1:18

To whom is “the wrath of God … revealed” against?

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold (have yet suppress, do not obey) the truth in unrighteousness;” Romans 1:18

Rebels, in their refusal to obey readily available knowledge, suppress it instead of simply humbling themselves and obeying it, meeting the simple conditions.

“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” 1 John 5:3

Some rebel and then they blame God when He gave them their own existence, the breath of life, more than ample opportunity and time to do things His way, but they refused….and yet they blame God instead of getting honest and taking personal responsibility, accountability. “The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against (blames) the LORD.” (Psalms 19:3)

salvation

When God’s people were in sin, separated from Him, they blamed Him instead of putting the blame where it belonged – on themselves.

“Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal (fair). O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal? 30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.” Ezekiel 18:29-30

God’s way brings peace and love, etc.

“Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” Psalms 119:165

“(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)” Ephesians 5:9

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23

The way of sin and rebellion is the “hard” way and brings much “trouble”:

“Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.” Job 14:1

“Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.” Proverbs 13:15

Romans 1 reveals to us that God’s creation, the conscience He made us with, and His Word, all testify to His presence, majesty, His truth, and His terms upon which we must come to Him, to serve the LORD.

Each of us choose to hold that truth while allowing God to reign in our lives, or to suppress it, denying God the place He deserves in our lives which He gave.

The LORD Jesus died for all men, desires to forgive, and bless every man. Yet only those who come to Him in humility and faith, will be saved into His family.

“By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.” Proverbs 22:4

Let’s read 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 together:

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;” 2 Corinthians 5:17-18

When God performs His miracle of regeneration in a man’s heart, that man’s life will absolutely be changed, from the inside out…. old things will be past away and all things are become new and of God. There will be no doubt he’s a changed man – changed by God Himself, born again, and a worshiper of the Savior and no longer self. In Christ vs not in Christ. Saved or unsaved. In the light or still in darkness.

Our LORD Jesus says:

“He that is not with me IS against me.” Matthew 12:30

Divine Call to True Repentance

“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.” Hosea 10:12

Jesus’ Invitation

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
