Am I missing something?

LET’S STOP COMPLAINING AND START CONTRIBUTING AND COMMUNICATING! SHALL WE SHUT UP AND SERVE? FEELING DEPRIVED? TODAY’S OUR DAY TO REPENT ON OUR FACE BEFORE A HOLY GOD WHO WILL THEN GIVE US A THANKFUL HEART!

GOD didn’t send us to marvel at all the increasing darkness of this world. No, in fact, He warned us it would be this way and yet, commanded that we “Preach the gospel to every creature” as we eagerly await His soon return (Mark 16:15-20). Why curse the darkness when we can obey Jesus by shining His light into the midst of it?

YOU are no hero or genius to see evil. It’s everywhere. What are you doing to bring God’s solution? That’s what Jesus came to do and that’s what He sent His people to do (Luke 4:18; Matthew 28:18-20, etc.).

Are you known more for what you’re AGAINST or for what you are FOR?

THE WORDS PREACH, PREACHED, AND PREACHING APPEAR 138 TIMES IN GOD’S WORD. PROTEST, PROTESTED, PROTESTING APPEAR JUST 7 TIMES. SEE A PICTURE?

We are not the Judge, God is. and yes God the Judge has spoken to us – in His written Word – but “The wrath of MAN worketh not the righteousness of God.” (James 1:20) “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.” “them that are without” concern those who are outside Christ’s kingdom (Colossians 4:5)

Jesus told us to “Go…preach” and not “go protest” Mark 16:15

Jesus and His apostles came to preach the kingdom of Heaven and didn’t spend much time protesting the paganism and darkness of this fallen world. Think about this: Do you walk into a room and complain that it’s dark OR do you simply flip the light switch and turn on the light?

Jesus came to save, not condemn! (John 3:17; Luke 9:56) He will condemn all who deny Him and His offer….. hell awaits, yet His will is to save! (2 Peter 3:9)

The earth was already under the blanket of darkness after the fall of mankind (Genesis 3, 6, etc.). When Jesus and His holy apostles came on the scene in the perfect timing of the Father, they shone the light of truth which began to pierce the darkness. Perhaps when we individually begin to see that Jesus came to bring the solution, we will begin more to apply it ourselves. Instead of cursing the darkness we will simply do more shining the light into it. Here’s a verse that captures this truth of why Jesus came and the way He operated:

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Acts 26:18

TURN ON THE LIGHT PRECIOUS SAINTS – LET IT FLOOD THE DARK HEARTS AROUND YOU!

Why not use the energy God gives you preaching Christ than giving Satan glory by wasting all your time protesting his evil works? If they are so evil, why not apply the solution – Christ!

There are several pagan holidays every year and each one of them is an opportunity for God’s people to shine the light of Christ into the hearts of men whom Jesus desires to saved! For example, halloween is of the devil-let’s shine Christ’s light into the darkness-Opportunity!

BIBLICAL FACT: Acts 17 Mars Hill – Paul didn’t condone falsehood and neither did he waste his time going on a tirade against their paganism …. He preached Christ and called them to repent.

—- Protest or Preach? Did the earliest saints protest or preach Christ, His Word, and His Gospel? It’s sad to see that so many are identified by what they are against instead of being identified with Christ by preaching Christ and His glorious Gospel.

As Christ’s ambassadors, our identity is not in what we are against but rather that we are Christ’s (Colossians 1-2). Beware of those who become proud of what they are against instead of that they are in Christ and that He is their all in all and reigning supreme in their lives. Yes, God’s people must “earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints” as they are rooted and grounded in the saving grace of Christ (Jude 3-4).

Is Jesus calling you to a more authentic, cross walk with Him?

WHEN is a human being forgiven? When were you forgiven? When you repented and put your faith in Christ, right? …. The LORD doesn’t expect sinners to stop sinning! NO, He expects HIS people to grow up and go preach so the lost sinners can be saved … let’s wake us saints, let’s grow up into Christ (Ephesians 4). … SAINTS, Let’s Stop Protesting and Start Preaching …. Repent.

Angry Street Preacher Warning

For Example, should Christians celebrate Christmas?

Stop Sinning, Really?

QUESTION ASKED:
Should Christians celebrate Christmas?”

If we would receive a greater portion of God’s grace – His divine influence on our hearts – we would cease making an issue out of these type things and simply use this season and the occasions afforded to minister His Love and truth. As a born again New Testament believer we are “ambassadors for Christ” and celebrate the coming of Christ into the world – and also died on the cross, was buried, and rose again from the dead! (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20) … Matt 1-2, Lk 1-2, etc. 1 Tim 1:15….. Why not use this season as an opportunity to share the first coming of Christ and preach the second coming. Share the 10 Commandments to convict the sinner and then the saving Gospel (Good News) of Christ! It’s good to be aware of the pagan aspects of this season and avoid them and just use it as an opportunity to spread God’s love and truth by communicating His Word as we are brought together with friends and family. Preach! Use this as a springboard saints – YES, Jesus was born and YES He came to die to give us life! (John 3:16) Preach! Pray for open doors – open hearts to receive His Word! Ask the LORD and He will surely open up many opportunities for you to communicate His Word. Just watch. “Here I am LORD, send me!” (Isaiah 6) WHY DID JESUS COME? Let Holy Scripture answer this all important question! PREPARE: Memorize specific Bible versions and own them – until they just roll off your lips effortlessly! (Proverbs 22:17-21)

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1 Peter 3:15

Look, we are surrounded with pagan idolatry every single day of the year and yet, did God call us to make that the main issue or preaching His holy Law to convict and Blessed Gospel to save?

STOP PROTESTING AND START PREACHING! … Some who pretend to be spiritually mature seem to develop their identity around what they are against instead of taking EVERY opportunity to obey God by “preach(ing) the word” in and out of season! for which we shall all give account (2 Timothy 4:1-4). Warned and Safe [podcast]

“By the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.” Psalms 17:4

PWT = Preach, WARN, Teach

“Whom we PREACH, WARNING every man, and TEACHING every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:” Colossians 1:28
Did you catch what the apostle Paul did to prepare the church to meet Christ?
  • Preach
  • WARN
  • Teach

Lynne Parker writes:

“I truly believe Christians will be tried by the Word in this hour. There is no more riding the fence or taking a neutral position. God Himself will place us all in a position to stand or fall according to the Word. “Deception” and its sister “delusion” are gripping the Body of Christ – like a dark cloud it is covering the land. The false dominion (NAR) theology and signs and wonders movement has effectively conditioned multitudes to forsake the authority of God’s Word and embrace their subjective feelings as guidance in discernment concerns. But in these latter days only those who divorce their feelings and trust only in God’s Word and have developed a love for the truth will overcome the devil’s schemes. Sadly many will be lost – it’s unfolding right before us.”

Teach the Bible [podcast]

JESUS IS COMING AND THE TRUE BODY OF CHRIST IS “HOLDING FORTH (BOLDLY DECLARING) THE WORD OF LIFE”

Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.” Philippians 2:16

WHEN you speak God’s Word, you are speaking divine authority.

“These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” Titus 2:15

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20

“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” Philemon 1:6

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

Nourishing the Body of Christ

“If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.” 1 Timothy 4:6

“All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.” Proverbs 15:15

The best way to learn is to teach.

HOW well do you know your way around in God’s Word?

Jesus knew His way around God’s Word. Do you? If not, why not?

“And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he FOUND the place where it was written,” Luke 4:17

The disciple of Christ must daily and diligently search, study, and learn God’s Word in light of His Great Commission command to us to teach His Word to others (Matthew 28:18-20). Our ability to minister is in large part based on our knowledge of God’s Word or the ability to navigate God’s Word (King James Bible).

MAKE THE DIFFERENCE – OBEY GOD, “PREACH THE WORD.” (2 TIMOTHY 4:2)

Tip: Always know WHERE you are reading in God’s Word – chapter and verse. You’ll be surprised at the repertoire that begins to build, making you, like Jesus, a good navigator of our LORD’s Word as you preach His Word (Luke 4:17).

Have you ever pondered why there is little or no Scripture being used when listening to someone pretending to be speaking about the LORD? You should wonder (Matthew 7:16, 20; 1 John 4:1).

“Preach the word” is the divine mandate, command (2 Timothy 4:2).

Let us cease to pretend that we represent the LORD when everything we say isn’t coming straight out of His Word. Read that again please.

“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles (written Word) of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11

Think God is calling you to serve? Good. If He has saved you, He has called you (Ephesians 2:8-10; 4:7). Get lost in His Word every day (Jeremiah 15:16). Read it (Revelation 1:3). Study it (2 Timothy 2:15). Memorize it (Proverbs 4:4). Meditate upon it day and night (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1). THAT’s your prep for ministry, not going to an antichrist seminary. Jesus inducted you into His school of the Holy Ghost and Word the moment He saved you.

“As I was listening I was thinking of Paul. Who was a very educated man in the law. But after he was saved he spent three years being taught exclusively by the Lord Jesus Himself. And he says he “conferred not with flesh and blood.” But he was taught “by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (Gal 1:12-18). All of us should be taught by the Lord in His Word and not learned through mere men or books. But by a direct revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus is The Word of God (John 1:1, Rev 19:13).” Karen Cochran
