“Many are the Afflictions of the Righteous” Psalms 34:19 [podcast]

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” Psalms 34:19

The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones:
not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked:
and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.” Palms 34:17-22

Stay upon thy God

“Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.” Isaiah 50:10

“Such an encouraging message! Thank you. I just went through a season like this! Asking God are you here? Are you hearing me? Pleading, but seemed like the Lord was silent. Then I was led to 1 Peter 1:7, 9. My faith was being purged. Would I still seek God even if He was silent? Would I still press in even if He did not answer? Our faith must be purged of our unbelief! It must be proven to be genuine! It must be proven to meet the final judge our Lord Jesus Himself! It must stand the test! Job said, ‘Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him’ (Job 13:15). Job’s faith did not waver! When our faith proves real and genuine we are rewarded with a crown of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8), a white robe, and a crown of glory (Isaiah 62:3).  ‘Then shall ye also appear with Him in glory’ (Colossians 3:4). Our final reward is the salvation of our soul! ‘But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved’ (Matthew 24:13). Hallelujah.” Karen Cochran

“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5

Remember Job 23: Gold Tried in the Fire of Affliction

“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. 12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:10-12

On Job 13:15; 23:10-12; Isaiah 50:10 <<< we must cling to Him by faith and stay upon our God during seasons of testing, trying, and when we feel God is not hearing us.

Staying in the pure WORD itself is what is important.

Being so busy in and doing His Word that we have little or no time or taste to listen to recycled messages from mere men.

We have THE Word therefore we don’t need man’s supposed word, dreams, visions, etc.

2 Peter 1:12-21 <<< read this till you get what HE’s actually saying. Pray for His understanding. Life changer!

Jesus is coming.

Living by Faith – Faith is Fueled Daily by the intake of the Word

“(for we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
