The following definition for “conspiracy” is found in the Webster’s 1828 dictionary:

“Conspiracy

n. [L. See Conspire.]

1. A combination of men for an evil purpose; an agreement between two or more persons, to commit some crime in concert; particularly, a combination to commit treason, or excite sedition or insurrection against the government of a state; a plot; as a conspiracy against the life of a king; a conspiracy against the government.

More than forty had made this conspiracy. Acts 23.

2. In law, an agreement between two or more persons, falsely and maliciously to indict, or procure to be indicted, an innocent person of felony.”

“Conspiracy” is a Bible word which in itself, due to God’s use of it, makes it a divine reality (Ezekiel 22:25-27). Denial changes nothing. The Bible even gives us a glimpse into a “conspiracy” that occurred in eternity past where Lucifer and a third of God’s angels conspired and rebelled against Him, only to be forever vanquished from His holy presence (Isaiah 14:12-14; Ezekiel 28: Revelation 12:7-12).

To say there is not conspiracy is to reveal that the evil one has accomplished his work of deceiving us. To say there is no conspiracy is to say there is no evil or evil one and that he has no evil workers, that is, human agents who are under his power.

According to 2 John 10-11 we will be judged with evil doers if we condone, support them in any way. Also, a major truth of discerning is found in Ezekiel 22:25-27.

Interestingly, hatred for Christ and His saints even brings people together in a “conspiracy” who were previously enemies.

“And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.” Luke 23:12

In this case above, Pilate and Herod were brought together to betray the Messiah. Pilate, the ruler of the Jews, represents religion and Herod, the Roman ruler, represents the civil or civilian populace. The same is at hand today and will increase against Jesus and His people as the day of His blessed return nears.

All rulers, men and women in authority, who do not bow down and “kiss the Son,” will be utterly destroyed by the Ruler of all rulers (read Psalms 2).

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall PUNISH the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.” Isaiah 24:21

The LORD Jesus will return with unprecedented, holy violence against the wicked:

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. ¹³And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelations 19:11-16

Jesus told us that Satan has come to “steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). So, if you are a true child of God, you are being conspired against due to being His child. The Bible says that wicked wolves “lie in wait to deceive” (Ephesians 4:14). “Rejoice”!

“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12

BIRDS OF A FEATHER TRULY DO FLOCK TOGETHER

The Bible clearly teaches that anyone who fellowships with, yokes with wolves IS one himself.

“Conspiracy” is not a theory but rather a divine revelation! “Conspiracy” is a divinely-given truth, a reality, and a fact of life:

“There is a CONSPIRACY of her prophets (apostate leaders) in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have DEVOURED SOULS; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. 26 Her priests (leaders) have violated my law (Word), and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27 Her princes (leaders) in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to DESTROY SOULS, to get dishonest gain (greed mongering hirelings).” Ezekiel 22:25-27

Conspiracy is a reality until Christ puts down all rebellion. Till then there will be men and devils conspiring against Jesus and His saints. Remember that wolves often travel in packs due to their cowardliness (Proverbs 28:1). The “the spirit of antichrist” possesses these wolves. “The spirit of antichrist” involves sinful men and Satan who are in rebellion against the Almighty (1John 4:1-3). The most insidious of these are those traitors in our very midst who pose as children of God and yet are tares, fruit-less apostates (Acts 20:27-31; Jude 1; 2 Peter 3, etc.).

Of these apostates, those who once knew God and have since departed from the faith and Christ, the Bible says that they are “crept in unawares (undetected)” (Jude 4).

“These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;” Jude 12

Was not our LORD Himself betrayed by an insider whom He had chosen?

Jesus promised us that as His return draws near, “the love of many shall wax cold” due to iniquity abounding in the earth and among those who claim to know Jesus yet don’t (Matthew 24:10-13).

David was constantly conspired against by the counsels of the wicked who plotted his destruction and out of whose vile hands the Almighty delivered him repeatedly. In fact, the book of Psalms records more specific data about conspiracy against the righteous than any other book in the canon of Holy Scripture. So often David, a man after God’s own heart, was pursued by the wicked doers of his day. Haman created hanging gallows to kill Mordecai and the Jews but the LORD had him hung on those very gallows. God will always get the last say! Paul was often conspired against by the Jews. At one place he had to be let down in a basket to escape the wrath of wicked men (Acts 9:25).

Those who are choosing to be on the LORD’s side have the LORD’s watch care and protection (Psalms 91).

“The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. ” Psalms 34:7

Those whom Christ has found and saved and are presently abiding in Him, are His sheep, and He will save them from His conspiring enemies and preserve them unto everlasting life. He will also preserve the wicked to eternally torment them, salting them to preserve their torment for ever (Mark 9:43-49).

“The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.” 2 Peter 2:9

The only way to prevent holding a grudge, is to simply forgive them – as God freely forgave you through the infinite price Christ paid for your sins on the cross, of which you don’t deserve (Psalms 103:10).

“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.” James 5:7-9

Being kind and forgiving towards others becomes simple as we look in the mirror and declare with Paul the apostle: “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing.” (Romans 7:18)

Forgiveness becomes easy when we look in the mirror to see the person (us, me) who needs God’s mercy more than any other person alive on the earth! Memorize Ephesians 4:32 now. KJB

Christ’s Non-Negotiable Original Gospel Imperative [podcast]

It’s one thing to claim we are with Christ and He with us, and it’s another thing to prove we are with the Savior by adhering to His words. Jesus told us that those who are “of God” hear and obey His words (John 8:47).

If one chooses not to love Jesus enough to obey His stated terms, such a man has rejected the Son of God for the love of sinful self and will perish in his own corruption (Matthew 22:37-40; Luke 9:23-24; 14:33; 17:33; John 14:15; 1 John 2:3-6, etc.).

“Repentance is to TAKE SIDES with God against yourself. It is a CHANGE of attitude toward SELF, toward SIN, toward GOD, toward CHRIST that is so REAL that it RESULTS in a changed life. It is raising the WHITE FLAG in SURRENDER to God and turning to Christ as your only LORD and Savior. Repentance is NOT a work … works are the fruit of repentance (Ephesians 2:8-10).” Trent Austin

Only the counterfeit will get upset at this Gospel message because such a rebel wants nothing to do with taking personal responsibility for his sin, the denial of self, the crucified life to be set apart, holy, and having the Savior reign!

Notice how Jesus knits the denial of self, the daily cross, the putting off the deeds of the body, of keeping under the body (the iniquitous fallen nature) with the destiny of the eternal soul.

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?” Luke 9:23-25

Jesus made it clear here that the cross is an original Gospel essential, an absolute imperative to eternal glory with Him!

Each of us proves exactly who we love the most by the way we are living! – God or self!

Everything that is happening in your life now is being allowed by God in order to get you down low into the death and burial with Christ. Read 2 Corinthians 4.
