COME TO HIM

The Lord changes us from the inside out.

Our walk with the Lord is not about trying harder to be a good Christian but dying deeper—by COMING TO HIM in humility.

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10

Humbling ourselves is not only essential to entering into God’s kingdom, but also a huge stumbling block for many, as Satan has erected the stronghold of pride in the sinful nature of humankind in the Garden of Eden, beginning with Adam and Eve. Pride (wanting to be like God) is what got them expelled from God’s presence.

Striving to enter the kingdom is by humbling ourselves as a little child and COMING TO HIM.

^“Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” Luke 13:24

“And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, ³And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:2-3

A little child is spontaneous, free, without restraint, and like a sponge that picks up (learns) everything around him.

COME TO HIM to learn from Him:

Jesus calls us to take on His yoke of humility and learn from Him about being meek and lowly in heart.

“COME UNTO ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

“And he (Jesus) said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23

“He (Jesus) must increase (in us), but I must decrease.” John 3:30

“Not my will, but thine be done.” Luke 22:42

Dying on the cross, Jesus said “It is finished.”

“After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

²⁹Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

³⁰When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:28-30

His work is complete, perfect and thorough. And He did it for us!

Our part is to COME TO HIM.

He has given to us in HIMSELF and His Word “all things that pertain to life and godliness.”

He has given to us, by His Holy Spirit, “his divine power” that worketh in us:

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

COME TO HIM to know Him:

“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, ³according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 1 Peter 2:2-3

COME TO HIM to be sanctified:

He has given to us in HIS WORD—the Bible— “all things that pertain unto life and godliness” and “glory and virtue”—sanctification.

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises (His Word): that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 1 Peter 2:4

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word (the Bible) is truth.” John 17:17.

“That he might sanctify and cleanse it (the church) with the washing of water by the word, ²⁷That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:25-27

COME TO HIM for joy, righteousness and peace:

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy (doing the will of His Father) might remain in you, and that your joy (doing the will of your heavenly Father) might be full.” John 15:11

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17

As we COME TO HIM daily, HE will change us.

HE has fought the battle.

This battle is not ours but the LORD’S—and He has won the battle “It is finished.”

The blood of Christ shed for us on Calvary bought our freedom from the slavery of sin:

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? ²⁰For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

We war not with carnal weapons but spiritual:

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:⁴(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds) ⁵Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Hallelujah!!! Praise our Lord God Almighty!

We reap the victory that Jesus Christ won on the cross of Calvary by COMING TO HIM daily

in obedience, submitting humbly, repenting of our sins, being washed clean by the Word and forgiving others. These acts of obedience are “mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds”:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. (COME TO HIM humbly, bowing down before Him releasing all of your life to Him, dying to self so Jesus may be raised up in you. Romans 6:4-8.) Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
Draw nigh to God (COME TO HIM), and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:8
COME TO HIM daily to repent and be forgiven of our sins and to forgive others:

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” Matthew 6:9-12

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13

COME TO HIM

“And I, If I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” John 12:32

Respond to the power of His drawing! COME TO HIM.

“We love him, because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:9 COME TO HIM.

COME TO HIM EVERY DAY, EVERYWHERE, IN EVERY SITUATION.

If you are reading these words, and a sinner, you are in big trouble with judgment pending. Today is your day to come to Jesus, to receive Him as the LORD of your life and be completely forgiven, washed from all your sins. Life will never get better and perhaps only worse until you do so…

Your Prayer to God …

Apply His holy blood to your life so that you may be saved, forgiven, and live eternally with Him. You must completely turn your life over to Him in repentance and faith. Now, pray the following prayer to God with all that is within you, from your heart and out loud: …. Dear heavenly Father, right now, if never before, I come to you as a broken and sinful person. Thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to die in my place for my sins. Thank You Jesus for coming to this earth to die and rise again to rescue me from sin and eternal hell and to save me for Your eternal glory. Right this moment, if never before, I receive You LORD Jesus. Come in and take over my whole life. I am all Yours and You are all mine. I love You Jesus and I will follow You from this moment forward till I am with You in Heaven forever! Please use me to help others know You dear LORD. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Top 12 Missing Essential Doctrines in the Modern Church World! [podcast]

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOUR “CHURCH” OR FAVORITE PREACHER? It’s real simple… if they are not preaching the cardinal doctrines of the original Gospel given to us in the New Testament, they are preaching “another gospel” and are “accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-9).

“For MANY DECEIVERS ARE ENTERED INTO THE WORLD, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. Modern church wolves refuse to preach the original Gospel of Jesus Christ from the pages of Holy Scripture and in the power of the Holy Ghost. No, instead they preach sermonettes that cater to the self-worshiping idolaters they entertain and collect money from (2 Timothy 3:1-7). They don’t even use the King James Bible but rather some cheap counterfeit. Their ear-tickling topics range from healing damaged emotions, 5 love languages, best life now, recovery, learning to love yourSELF, coping platitudes, loneliness, psychobabble band aids, law of attraction, being a successful single, purpose driven delusionment, etc.

Fake “bibles” Exposed

LOTS of lying going on when we have counterfeits peddling affirmation without salvation, the “promise” of things “getting better” when their prey are heading straight to hell. Especially certain social media platforms are flooded with this false gospel coming out of “Christians.” There is no sin or repentance in their message which alone identifies it as a false gospel. You see, the things that are happening to the sinners around us are allowed by God in order to lead them to repentance and yet, the counterfeits among us are assuring those sinners it’s all going to get better and never giving them the 10 Commandments to show them they are sinners (Galatians 3:24) and then, leading them to Jesus (Romans 10:9-10, 13, etc.). 10 Commandments Evangelism

In the modern church world, there is …..

No cross. No Jesus. No blood. No judgment. No sin. No repentance. No hell. No readiness for the soon return of Jesus. No Heaven. No equipping preparation for ministry. No Scripture memory. No holiness. No Messianic prophecies and their fulfillment. No Christology. No fear of God. No repentance. etc., all of which are Bible doctrines essential to salvation and/or essential to sound foundation in Christ and are missing in the modern church world.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

The only reason we, each of us has been deceived in the past is due to our own biblical ignorance (Proverbs 24:5; Hosea 4:6; 2 Timothy 2:15). Lacking the knowledge of the Word, we didn’t see what they were LEAVING OUT. We didn’t know to discern what they were teaching and what they were NOT teaching. Now, as we grow in the knowledge of the LORD through diligent daily study of His Word, we know to look for the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith.

When’s the last time you heard verses like this in the modern church?

“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33

“Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.” Luke 17:33

The modern church is going down in flames into the flames of hell. It cannot be reformed. Come out from it.

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

In 2 Timothy 4:3 to “endure sound doctrine” means to hold oneself accountable to it. WHAT’s at the root of those who refuse to “endure sound doctrine”? – They simply do not love Jesus like He commanded them to (Matthew 22:37-39). They profess Christ as Savior and yet love self supremely and therefore serve the god of self. The Holy Ghost through Paul told us this of those who have a mere “form of godliness” in the last day resumé found in 2 Timothy 3:1-7.

Notice by divine design the very first thing he reveals is that “men shall be lovers of their own selves.” All the following evil comes out of self love, refusal to love God supremely and therefore repent, deny self, take up the cross and follow Jesus:

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2 Timothy 3:1-7

God is toppling all the heart idols (Ezekiel 14:3)… because He’s Jealous and wants us looking to Him and not these mere men, these vile wolves, these celebrity sinners posing as His representatives (Exodus 34:14).

“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:” Exodus 34:14

God Himself personally sends a “strong delusion” to all who do not love His truth so that they WILL believe lies. He greases their pole to hell. That’s how personally He takes it when people call Him a liar by not believing His Word.
