Beware of the Coping Cons

The world offers all kinds of symptom-masking band aids to mankind’s problems. Sin is the core dilemma of man and only Christ can bring the root-level solution.

Most “ministry” today is all about helping people make sense of their own life in this fleeting world. It’s completely surface level, self-focused and therefore futility (Philippians 3:18-19; 2 Timothy 4:2-4, etc.). Regrettably, we nearly never hear the original Gospel message of Christ with its cardinal doctrines, of losing your life in this world, denying self and dying to self so Jesus can reign, the danger and reality of eternal damnation in hell, judgment to come, repentance and bearing good fruit, the return of Jesus, or the essential of personal holiness in light of the return of Christ, etc. It’s a cross-less, counterfeit false gospel saints which we are commanded to “earnestly contend” against (Jude 3-4).

We hear: “I need peace.”

No, you need Christ, more of Him who is the Prince of peace and revealed in His Word (Psalms 119:165; Isaiah 9:6-7). His peace will follow seeking, knowing, worshipping, trusting, obeying Him (John 14-15).

We hear: “I need to overcome sin.”

Yes, yet it’s in Christ, the cross, the crucified life, that victory over sin happens, and no other way (Luke 9:23-24; Galatians 2:20; Colossians 3:3; 2 Corinthians 4:10-12, etc.).

ALL cults, heretical systems, and false prophets have a common denominator: Jesus Christ is not elevated as God, Creator of all that is, the only Savior, the Almighty, the supreme HEAD of His one church, and worthy to be obeyed. Colossians 1-2 is paramount to our walk with Heaven’s coming KING.

IF YOU WILL BE PLANTED DEEP INTO CHRIST, YOUR CHRISTOLOGY, YOUR STUDY OF, YOUR PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST MUST BE EVER-DEEPENING, NOT SHALLOW (COLOSSIANS 2:6-10).

The world uses “treatments,” they have “treatment centers” which don’t treat MAN’S CORE DILEMMA – SIN. Only Jesus can change a life! (2 Corinthians 5:17-18)

The divine solution is always in God’s Word.

“According as his divine power hath given unto us ALL things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises (in the Holy Scriptures specifically): that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4

In God’s Word, the “exceeding great and precious promises” of our great God provide the answers for God’s people in “all things that pertain unto life and godliness.” Any person looking outside of God’s Word for God’s wisdom is seeking some other way and is wayward from the LORD.

The healing, deliverance, and solution is always going to be found found in God’s Word – so if you aren’t daily in God’s Word, you can forget walking in His blessings – you’ve already backslidden:

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalms 107:20

Get it? The wolf is known in that he entertains goats and doesn’t feed sheep. There’s the counterfeit “church” attender who’s just wading through life, attempting to just coast. Not. Hell awaits the lukewarm (Revelation 3:15-16). Then, there’s the few who truly repented, are laying down their lives daily, walking in an abiding fellowship with Jesus, and are fruitful in relationship and doing Gospel ministry (John 15). Today’s pastors love and use the counterfeits by simply crafting their half-truth messages to coddle the tares in their self-serving, sinful, self-idolatrous lifestyle. The lake of fire awaits.

When someone speaks biblical truth, they are offended as Scripture foretold (2 Timothy 4:2-4).

“They hate him that rebuketh in the gate (the mere messenger), and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.” Amos 5:10

The apostle Paul asks this rhetorical question:

“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” Galatians 4:16

The declaring of biblical truth in a bold, non-apologetic fashion only sounds rude to those who are cold, dead, backslidden, unrepentant, and lukewarm. They have fallen away, they have died spiritually due to not being in God’s Word daily for themselves. They are not right with God but rather in darkness and in utter need of truly repenting before it’s too late (John 3:19-21). The remnant of Christ’s few, His elect, daily feed on and thrive in His truth – they are keeping themselves in the love of God and therefore “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth” (1 Corinthians 13:6).

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18

Jesus told us that “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” – that is, the gates of hell will not prevail against the attack of the true body of Christ whom Jesus is working in and through (Matthew 16:18). Think: Gates simply sit idle and so obviously the frontal attack of Christ’s servants is obvious – as they preach the light of divine truth which is piercing the darkness of hell’s kingdom and in the hearts of men!

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

Read and heed the context of Scripture, the Bible stories, etc. which is in DOING THE GOSPEL, preaching, ministering, and never just attending “church,” coping with self serving issues in lukewarmness, warming a pew, in a self-serving, consumerism lifestyle of a mere “form of godliness … Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:5, 7). Read the book of Acts. Also, see Luke 10:19; Acts 16, Revelation 12:11, etc.

What’s at the Root of the Refusal to Preach the Whole Counsel of God’s Word?

Self-idolatry.

They are building a church busine$$ on the backs of counterfeits who refuse to study and discern by God’s Word (Acts 17:10-11).

“(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly [carnal appetites], and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)” Philippians 3:18-19

WE cannot and will not possibly preach a cross we’re not personally taking up! (Galatians 2:20)

There are “MANY false Prophets” Among Us!

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1

The Modern Day frauds many call “pastors” are simply not teaching people to read the Bible. Wasn’t this foretold for these final days before Christ’s return? People are being “destroyed for lack of knowledge” of God’s Word which we all have full access to.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: …” Hosea 4:6

Modern hirelings are not teaching the Bible. Nor, or they encouraging the people to study God’s Word, much less to do so daily, diligently, and thoroughly – and with the real Bible, the King James Bible. If on a rare occasion, you see a minister today seeking to get people in God’s Word for themselves, he’s usually reading from and encouraging others to read one of Satan’s false “bibles” instead of the King James Bible. This is in fulfillment of the prophecy of the LORD’s prophet Amos, we see a great hunger ….

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:” Amos 8:11

The lies of this fallen world which bombard believers daily, is reinforced by the intentional refusal of today’s pastors to simply “preach the word” (2 Timothy 4:2-4). Hell awaits these vile wolves and all who follow them instead of Christ – we have God’s Word on it (2 Peter 2:1-3; 2 John 9-11).

As a result of this prophesied “famine” for God’s Word ….

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6

YOU have a Bible. YOU have access to the KING JAMES BIBLE and are therefore personally responsible to read, study, learn, know, obey, and teach God’s Word. There are no excuses – regardless of what the “many false prophets” are doing! (See Matthew 7:15; 24:11, etc.) YOU are personally responsible before God to Whom you shall stand to give full account of your life in this world (Romans 14:10).

Christ’s true followers are known in that they love Him truly and therefore hear, and are corrected and guided only by His voice, His Word (John 8:47). Jesus says to search His Word and that those who hear His words are of Him and all others are counterfeit:

“Search the scriptures …. He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” John 5:39; 8:47

We are living in a biblically illiterate era which is bringing in the prophesied great falling away (2 Thessalonians 2). This apostasy (departing from the truth) has largely come on the wings of Satan’s false “bibles.” In this late hour we have more Bibles on the planet than at any other time in history and yet the vast majority of those claiming to be Christian are biblically illiterate – they couldn’t communicate Christ from Scripture for 2-3 minutes. The wolves have taken the place of Christ and the Bible. They are antichrists who have displaced the knowledge and worship of Christ out from among his people, just as was repeatedly foretold (Colossians 2:8-10; 18-19, etc.). We are warned of “many antichrists” (1 John 2:18). Anti means “in place of.” Selah.

“I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way.” Jeremiah 6:27

Vanquishing ignorance occurs when we take the essential personal responsibility to study God’s Word and are thereby enlightened.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalms 119:130

Today’s the day to turn on the divine flood light, which will shine into our dark hearts daily and lead us to repentance, the daily cross, and an abiding lifestyle with Christ (John 15).

Judgment Day is on the Way

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:21-23

Workers of iniquity do their own thing instead of doing life God’s way – as plainly prescribed in His Word (Proverbs 13:13).

The church-attending counterfeit is always “going to get around to” truly repenting and obeying God and is living in danger of irrevocable eternal damnation in hell. The authentic child of God is presently obeying God and ready to meet Christ.

In modern “churches” today we seldom hear a message of conviction on overcoming victory by actually, literally repenting and DOING THE GOSPEL – obeying God.

“He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” 1 John 2:4-5

If the effect of your “church” is lukewarmness, God is calling you to repent at once. If the fellowship you are experiencing is not provoking you to “love and good works,” it’s apostate.

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

The Fruit of True Fellowship with other Authentic Saints of Christ

True fellowship with one or more true disciples of Jesus will always be grounded in His Word and will bring to us that for which God’s Word was given by Him to us (Colossians 3:16):

• “doctrine,”
• “reproof,”
• “correction,”
• “instruction in righteousness”
• perfection (maturity in Christ)
• A life “furnished” with divine truth, wisdom, and love.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Original Gospel true New Testament assemblies always bring forth the fruit we see in the above passage. The learning of sound doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. This tells us just how false most assemblies are today where there is no maturing in Christ, no correction, or instructing in the righteousness of God. There is a true furnishing of divine blessings when God is honored, His Word is the whole and total message.

Jesus warned against writers:

“Beware of the (modern) scribes…” Luke 20:46

Mark 12:38:  “And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplace$,” <<<<Think about the many who covet to be “best selling” authors.

Luke 20:4:6 “Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the market$, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;”

“I don’t buy any books from Christian book stores anymore. You just don’t know who you can trust – except God’s Word! Most are just looking to make money at your stupidity or lack of knowledge!
