There’s no such thing in Christ’s New Testament church as special “intercessors” or special intercessory prayer groups, especially not run by women. It’s a jezebel recipe for wicked women to manipulate the pastor and direction of that “church.” This can only function, happen where there’s an Ahab, a spineless moral coward “pastor” allowing it (Revelation 2:20-24).

“And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination (Gr. python) met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying (false prophesying, divining): 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.” Acts 16:16-18

Dear Jezebel: UNAPOLOGETICALLY: If you are a jezebel, my goal by preaching the truth is to manifest your demons so you can 1. repent and be delivered by Christ, or 2. be removed out from the brethren! You are not of God (Ecclesiastes 7:26). You are the enemy of God (Revelation 2:20-24). There will be no jezebel in Heaven, not one!

Men who are in the cross, living the crucified life, will always manifest jezebels and heretics! Bam. Jesus says to “Rejoice.” (Matthew 5:10-12)

Only ahabs – spineless moral cowards who refuse to stand on God’s Word – are entangled with jezebel.

“Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.” Proverbs 31:3

BEWARE: WHEN you encounter a group where there are a bunch of women who pretend to be getting “words” and yet are not grounded in Holy Scripture (they don’t even mention Bible truth), you know jezebel is running wild and that’s your clue to run!

BEWARE: Those who are flattering you today could be setting you up for something much more sinister tomorrow – spreading a net under your feet. This is what this woman in Acts 16 was attempting to do to Paul and his ministry crew. – “A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.” (Proverbs 29:5) “Beware of men” said our LORD and at least in part, that would be to realize that everyone you meet is acting out of an agenda (Matthew 10:17). Is is the LORD’s agenda or their own self-serving agenda?

We must edify Christ’s body which is in contrast to flattery. Flattery has a self-serving purpose while edification comes from a Savior-serving disciple of Jesus who has God and his fellow brethren at heart first and foremost.

THEY FLATTER you by not preaching repentance, the need for personal holiness, sorrow for sin, denial of self-the crucified life, etc. These are all cardinal components of the original Gospel and anyone not preaching them is “accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-9)

Jezebels are known in that THEIR message is all about them and their gift and their calling and their visions, words, and prophecies! RUN!

Think about how our fallen world is filled with various forms of witchcraft/divination. Divination or divining has to do with seeking out the future without consulting the One who holds the future. IS YOUR LIFE dependent upon the stars and how they line up instead of dependent upon the One who made you and those stars? IDOLATRY is everywhere in this fallen world. ASTROLOGY is divination where the person reading his/her HORRIBLE-SCOPE seeks to find out their future outside of the ONE who made those stars and holds their future in His holy hands. That’s why we are commanded to “walk by faith and not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7) God is Jealous over you (Exodus 20:3; 34:14). He loves you and will not be second place. He’s either first – or He’s not at all. If we are not with Him, we ARE against Him – that means we love the world and its sinful ways and are actually His enemies (Matthew 12:30; James 4:4).

WOULD GOD LEAD A WOMAN TO CORRECT A MAN? There should be no question after reading this Bible verse. Women are not to teach NOR usurp authority over the man. There’s a stated order in God’s creation and in the Word for the family and the gatherings of the saints/church. The woman who argues doctrine with a man or seeks to rebuke/correct him is out of God’s order. Only a Jezebel would dare so such while claiming to serve Jesus. There’s only 1 example of a woman ruling over men in the New Testament and it’s JEZEBEL! (Revelation 2:20-24; 1 Timothy 2:11-12)

5 Components of the Mind of Christ from Philippians 2

Jesus Christ made Himself of no reputation.
He took upon Him the form of a servant.
He was made in the likeness of men.
He humbled Himself.
He became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

At Gethsemane the death before the cross, before His death on the cross occurred.

“Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22:42

Living in the mind, the disposition of Christ means you are truly following Him.

As Christ’s disciple, your devotion, your love is first to Him, then to your neighbor, not self (Matthew 22:37-39). You are commanded by the Savior to set self aside and to lift others above yourself—to prefer, to put God and others first. Those who do so, experience true freedom, liberty.

Being one with Christ, who gave all to save you, means your life is over—you now live to serve the LORD and others, not self (Galatians 2:20; Colossians 3:3).

Have you poured prayerfully over Philippians 2:3-5 today? If you will begin every day this week pouring prayerfully over this passage, asking the LORD to internalize it in your heart, God will begin to deeply instill the very “mind of Christ” into your innermost disposition.

Part of the dying…. IS GOD calling us to Himself, to forsake this world, including the attempt to save an unrepentant nation long in rebellion against Him – America?

Prayer: LORD, I want to walk in the disposition You walked in on earth. I will esteem You and others above myself. In Jesus’ name, amen.
