Woman of Virtue

Question:

So, the Bible prohibits women from fulfilling the role that our Creation clearly ordain for men to fulfill. Yet, to balance things out, what can a women do, in ministry sense?

Answer:

Hi. Good question. Romans 16 features several women who served. Women are blessed to serve in a myriad of hospitable ways with a meek and quiet spirit, including:

• Telling others about Jesus (John 4:28-30),
• Loving, reverencing and obeying their husbands (Eph. 5:22, 33; Titus 2:5),
• Prophesying (Acts 21:9)
• Teaching the younger women (Titus 2:4),
• Remaining in the role which God created for them,
• Making her husband stand out, loving him, taking care of the household, being industrious, buying and selling real estate, etc. (Titus 2:5; Proverbs 31).
• Etc.

Jezebellian feminism is destroying our country, all by itself. In God’s Word women are told to be “keepers at home” Titus 2:1-5…. yet this in no way hinders her from being super industrious as we see in Proverbs 31.

Research every single verse in God’s Word to learn this whole doctrine for God’s most beautiful creation – women – who are to be loved and cherished by men but never put before God (like Adam and Ahab and many today are doing).

“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” Proverbs 31:10

Note in this chapter 31 of Proverbs, that the virtuous woman is multi-faceted. She is not limited. She is certainly not self-centered. She is industrious, loving, faithful to God and her husband. She cooks. She serves. She is fulfilled. She blesses her children. Her children rise up and call her blessed. She carefully builds her house in all she does. All of her words and actions and attitudes elevate her husband and children because she daily basks in the presence of the One who made and saved her soul.

“Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”  Proverbs 14:1 

Jezebel destroys while the God-fearing woman builds up and blesses. She is a meek, quiet-spirited, and humble servant. She is crucified with Christ and so has no self-agenda. She is given over to the Savior. In the heart of the God-fearing woman is no excuse-making process. She knows that Jezebel must die. Every trace of Jezebellian must be vanquished. It must be crucified.

No words can possibly express how powerful the impact of a God-fearing woman who refuses to walk according to the counsel of the ungodly but rather obediently adheres to the words of her God and Judge – Jesus Christ. Read Psalm 1.

The virtuous woman fears the LORD and not men – she refuses to follow the masses of women who are in rebellion against the One who made them for a very special purpose. She walks in that divinely ordained place, in the order in which He made her to function in the role of a woman, wife, mother.

The woman of virtue is a blessing and a gift to all she comes into contact with. She never leaves them as she found them but always lifted upward. She is self-less and joyfully serves the Savior. Her priorities are squared 1. Jesus, 2. her husband, 3. her children, 4. The body of Christ, 5. the lost…etc. God-fearing women are precious jewels that the world cannot properly live without!!!!!

^{Pr 31:21} She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

^{Pr 31:22} She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

^{Pr 31:23} Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

^{Pr 31:24} She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

^{Pr 31:25} Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

^{Pr 31:26} She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

^{Pr 31:27} She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

^{Pr 31:28} Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

^{Pr 31:29} Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

^{Pr 31:30} Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

^{Pr 31:31} Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

PRAYER: Father, You made me, found me in my sins, and saved me. I love You. I am Your clay and You are my Potter. You are in control, not me. You must increase and I must decrease this very moment. Please pour the water of Your Holy Spirit upon me so that I will be pliable, teachable, obedient, and humbled before Your Majesty. Make me what You desire as You stated in Your Holy Word. Bless my life to delight in You wholly and to be exactly what You ordained for Your women and made plain in Your Word. Into Your hands I commend my spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It sure does sister and yet, a virtuous woman, so very gifted of God, can multi-task ….. such as the many things the virtuous woman is seen participating in in Prov 31. First and foremost she took care of her husband and children and is also seen doing other things such as buying and selling real estate, etc.
