Before you even read those memes or anything about what God-less people believe woman are to be, read everything the LORD says in His Word about women, why HE created them, and what HIS will, purpose, and design is for women. Otherwise, you will be deceived.

“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Ephesians 4:23-24

The Bible speaks of the Virtuous woman, not a strong woman (Proverbs 31). Her strength is in her submission to the Almighty. The virtuous, the godly woman has repented and laid down her life in this world, is born again, and fully, wholly dependent upon God her Maker and not her own strength (Proverbs 3:5-7). See the difference? As a disciple of Jesus, it’s only when we are weak that He becomes the strength in us, right? (2 Corinthians 12:9-10) It’s only when we are doornail dead and buried that Jesus raises us upward for HIS glory (2 Corinthians 4:10-12). Beware sisters!

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

The God-fearing woman is strong in the LORD, not self. She’s not self-willed but Savior-willed. She’s denounced her own agenda and so is not self-powered but rather Savior-powered, full of His divine grace! The virtuous woman is a woman of the cross!

The woman who fears the LORD, obeys Him and is too busy about being a wife, mother, and teaching younger women than to be deluded by the worldly poisons of jezebel.

PROVERBS 31

The Words of King Lemuel

1  The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him. 
2  What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows? 
3  Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. 
4  It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: 
5  Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. 
6  Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. 
7  Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more. 
8  Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. 
9  Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy. 
The Woman Who Fears the Lord
10  Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 
11  The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 
12  She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 
13  She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. 
14  She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. 
15  She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. 
16  She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 
17  She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. 
18  She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
