The Cross in Ministering [podcast]

Resurrection Grace [podcast]

The divine power generator for all ministry is the cross (2 Corinthians 4:10-12).

MINISTRY comes out of the crucified life full of the Holy Ghost and consists of getting people to look at Jesus through the Scriptures! Ministry is not drawing people’s attention to you! Repent and preach Christ! Not your minister, your wonderful speaking ability or charisma, but Christ!

WARNING:

GET READY! WHEN you do things God’s way and go downward, get ready saints… Jesus is going to raise you upward in HIS divine power and His great grace is going to propel your life and ministry outreach, serving! BAMMMM! (2 Corinthians 4:10-12)

The only way for the divine grace, the anointing of God to abide upon us and to powerfully work through us, is the cross. Consenting to death and burial guarantees His raising upward. Paul, who penned the words, “I am crucified with Christ,” told us that it was the bless-ed, mighty grace of God that worked in and through Him (Galatians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 15:10). The operation of the power of God to bless His people and reach the lost, works only as we consent to His leading in being crucified with Christ, dead and buried, and as He reciprocally raises us upward in His resurrection grace. Pour over 2 Corinthians 4:10-12.

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” 1 Corinthians 15:10

One believer writes: “ALL believers will be crucified with Christ as was the entire “old man”  (Rom 6:6).  The big question is when the cross comes to you, do you get bitter or do you take it up in faith, faith that the resurrection with Christ will follow. You can’t crucify yourself. God allows the devil to put you on the cross in your circumstances or failures.  Now what do we do with that?  That is the issue.  If one has not been taught the deep working cross message bitterness and revolt is sure to follow.”

YOUR true relationship with the LORD can be measured in the fruit that is being produced in your personal life. Read John 15:1-16. WHO are you ministering to? Who is your full cup running over on? (See Psalms 23:5).

IF there is no ministry flowing from one’s life, there is no cross in that person’s life!

HERE’S the only Counsel you need or should desire. No counseling or human counselor needed if you will heed God’s holy Counsel which emanates from his very heart to you – to all of us! – “The counsel (written Word) of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.” (Psalms 33:11) Please listen and share.

2 Corinthians 4:10-12

“Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.”

The only way ministry is done God’s way – is via the crucified vessel/life – 2 Corinthians 4:10-12

LORD Jesus, what would a Galatians 2:20 life look like? Do it in me, please LORD!

I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:45

David slayed a lion, a bear, and Goliath in the name, the authority of the LORD. 2 Cor 4:10-12; Col 3:3; Zech 4:6; Jude 9, etc.

It’s a godly desire to want to be used by Him-The cross life is the way (2 Cor. 4:10-12).

In the divine economy, it’s out of the cross life that the fruitfulness of Christ abounds (John 15:1-16; 2 Corinthians 4:10-12; Gal 2:20).
