phil 4-19fWell done …” Matthew 25

The generous giving of the Philippian saints were a blessing to Paul which allowed for the furtherance of the LORD’s Gospel. It’s to them – those who gave – that this following dearly beloved divine promise of provision is given:

“Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with (co-participate) my affliction. … But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:14, 19

A fresh reading of Philippians 4 may yield fresh, further insight into our LORD’s truth concerning giving.

It would be absolutely difficult to know where to start to begin to share with you just all that our LORD Jesus is doing! Tens of thousands of soul winning Gospel tracts have and are going out. Boxes and envelopes of these powerful tracts, books, KJV Bibles, and supplies have been sent out to the LORD’s troops all over America and a few parts of the world.

We are extremely thankful for you!

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. … 23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21, 23

There are literally tens of thousands of precious souls receiving the Word of our God via this ministry. The LORD is blessing us to utilize nearly every medium of communication available today to communicate His Word, His love, His equipping, His building up, and His truth to many. There is also SafeGuardYourSoul Youtube channel now!

And, there is not the slightest chance this could happen without your participation with our LORD in His work. Please allow these following few words from our LORD to refresh you and to reinvigorate your heart in the mission for which we have been apprehended and commissioned to do:

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:6-9

those who support the work of christ are helping to make the full thrust of ministry to be accomplished in this late hour in which the world’s people have never more needed the light and love of Christ!!!!!

It is an absolute blessing that you are doing your part. We can all just do our part – that part which the LORD has given us to do. And for doing such, He is going to reward us here and now and eternally! (1 Samuel 14:6; Matthew 6:19-24;  9:35-39; John 4:36; 2 Cor. 9:6-11, etc.).

When Paul had shown his thanks to God for the generous giving of the believers at Philippi, he then wrote the following and long loved promise of God to all who give:

“Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with (co-participate) my affliction. … But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:14, 19

By the text in which this promises appears, we must conclude that this promise of divine provision, is especially given to those who are generous givers. Here’s more from God’s Word that seems to convey this same truth:

“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17

“The liberal (generous, giving) soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” Proverbs 11:25

“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-11

Here’s a powerful and encouraging word from our LORD to those of His people who give their lives to Him, for His glory:

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:10
