Saved by grace and yet can’t fall from saving grace? Lie! Repent, you are a false teacher!
The little “eternal security” fairy tale won’t fly on Judgment Day.
Recently I was accused by a person who adheres to the eternal security heresy of being religious and not holding to the grace of God. Here’s my response:
Holding to the truth, Bible, is not religion. You have no clue of the saving grace of God and how it can be done despite to, failed, and fallen from (Jude 4; Titus 2:11-12; Galatians 5:4; Hebrews 10:29; 12:14-15, etc.).
God’s Word actually, specifically informs us that you are one of the “ungodly men” who are corrupting, perverting the grace of God by making it a license for sin and are to be “earnestly” contended against (Jude 3-4).
“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” 2 Peter 2:20-21
That “knowledge” was saving knowledge – They “ESCAPED THE POLLUTIONS OF THE WORLD through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” No unsaved person would possibly “escape(d) the pollutions of the world” unless it were “through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 2:20-21)
When people use “eternal security” they refer to the heresy of an un-conditional security, no matter how they are living.
1 John 3
“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.” 1 John 3:5-10
SO, you aren’t personally responsible to “endure to the end” abiding in Christ? If this is your idea, you’ve openly called the Son of God a liar (Matthew 10:22; 24:13; John 15:6, etc.).
COUNTERFEITS who hide behind their OSAS fairy tale HATE this biblical reality and are willing to call the LORD a liar in order to retain this heresy – “And he that overcometh, and KEEPETH my works UNTO THE END, to him will I give power over the nations:” (Revelation 2:26)
COMMON OBJECTION TO EXPOSING OSAS:
“It sounds you you’re teaching a works-righteousness salvation.”
RESPONSE:
It sounds like you are lukewarm and dishonest, deceitful, hiding behind a heresy, and want to live in sin and not be bothered with obeying the Savior you claim to be saved by! If so, you are a counterfeit.
GOD DESPISES AND DISAGREES WITH OSAS
Many are taught that faith or believing is a one-time event and yet, the Bible teaches otherwise. While saving faith begins at one instant, when a person repents and believes on the LORD Jesus Christ, it certainly doesn’t end there. And, continual, ongoing, abiding faith is required to enter glory!
“If a man abide (remain) not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:6
If Jesus used the term “fall away” then how is it not possible? Any person who claims a truly saved person can’t “fall away” is call the Son of God a liar.
“They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation FALL AWAY.” Luke 8:13
Also, how could someone possibly “fall away” from something they never possessed? Impossible.
Did God waste a lot of Scriptures warning us not to lose our salvation?
Those truly “saved to begin with” CAN:
- Depart from the faith (1 Timothy 4:1) …notice the word “faith.” Sinners were never in the faith, only Christians.
2. Err from the faith (1 Timothy 6:10, 21)
3. Cast off their faith (1 Timothy. 5:12)
4. Make shipwreck of their Faith (1 Timothy 1:19)
5. Fall from grace (Galatians 5:4)
6. Remove themselves from Him who called them and turn to a different gospel (Galatians 1:6)
7. Receive the grace of God in vain (2 Corinthians 6:1)
8. Err from the truth, upsetting the faith of some (2 Timothy 2:18)
9. Let slip the truth (Hebrews 2:1)
10. Have an evil heart of unbelief, leading us to depart from the living God (Hebrews 3:12)
11. Be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13)
12. Fail to hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end (Hebrews 3:14)
13. Fail to attain the promise of entering into His rest (Hebrews. 4:1)
14. Fail to enter His rest because of unbelief (Hebrews 4:11)
15. Fall away and be impossible to restore again unto repentance (Hebrews 6:4-6)
16. Willfully go on sinning and no longer have a sacrifice for sins (Hebrews 10:26-27)
17. Draw back from the faith (Hebrews 10:38)
18. Fail of the grace of God (Hebrews 12:15)
19. Err from the truth and die in sin (James 5:19-20)
20. Forsake the right way and go astray (2 Peter 2:15)
21. Become entangled and overcome by the pollutions of the world AFTER having escaped them and turn from the holy commandment (2 Peter 2:20-21)
22. Be led away with the error of the wicked and lose their steadfastness (2 Peter 3:17)
23. Commit a sin leading to death (1 John 5:16)
24. Stop abiding in the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9)
25. Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you are reprobate? (2 Corinthians 13:5)
26. Remove themselves (free choice) from the grace of Christ, for a different gospel (Galatians 1:6)
27. Turn away from righteousness: “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die” Ezekiel 18:24.
Yes, God disagrees with OSAS.
WHY do we have the book of Galatians if born again believers can’t be “bewitched”, deceived, and fall from saving grace (Galatians 3:1-3; 5:4).
“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; YE ARE FELLEN FROM GRACE.” Galatians 5:4
Can’t remove yourself?
Galatians 1:6
“I marvel that ye are so soon REMOVED from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:”
The LORD “cut off” His own people the Jews and here in the New Testament warns that He will do the same to His people today if they rebel.
“Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.” Romans 11:20-21
The original, the real Gospel includes remaining in Christ to the END – or perishing! (Matthew 10:22; 24:13; John 15:6, etc.)
SHOULD YOU be concerned that you die with no sin? YEP. Yet, so many do not wish to be bothered to truly repent and become personally accountable to the LORD for their every thought and action. Why? They are full of self – the love of self – and not the love of the Savior. They refuse to truly repent and will pay the eternal price for the wages of sin which is still death (Romans 6:23; 2 Timothy 3:1-7, etc.). So many who claim to be saved are lukewarm, ready to be spued, with no fear of God, and loving their ear-tickling false teachers who assure them “eternal security” or “once saved always saved” just like Satan promised the first man and woman before they fell from grace (Genesis 2:17; 3:4; 2 Timothy 3:1-7; 4:2-4; Jude 4, etc.).
“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19
Modern “pastors” will not preach holiness. They definitely won’t preach “perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1
If you are looking to feel security and not obeying God’s Word, you are a self-deceived, hell bound cross-less counterfeit. Today is your day to hear the voice of the LORD and come to Him afresh in repentance, before it’s too late (Hebrews 3:6, 12-15).
Brother Scott Macdonald writes:
“Just a point to consider; If a household is thine own then you are the head of it and it should abide in and by your rule, and as a believer in Christ Jesus, so your life and household should follow thereby.”
“But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.” Hebrews 3:6
John Umlauf captures the deceit of those who dishonestly seek to promulgate Satan’s OSAS heresy:
“What?? That can’t happen! Don’t you know I can take other verses from the Bible and use them to disprove that and still keep believing no one is ever lost after they’ve once been saved? Haven’t you ever heard of Bible hopscotch where you skip over the verses that don’t line up with the theology you’ve been indoctrinated with?”
OSAS dupes cling to John 10:28-29 and don’t even know what Jesus’ preceding words say (v27). They deliberately ignore John 15:6 and mountains of Scripture. WHY? They have not truly repented. No, they said a prayer and some wolf told them they were saved forever (Luke 8:12-13). Some of them actually did repent and yet have since backslidden – fallen away (Luke 8:13). All the lukewarm are going to hell if they don’t repent. All it takes to go to hell is to be found “lukewarm.” (Revelation 3:15-16)
Eternal Security – OSAS Busted and Exposed!
Heidi Velarde writes: “Once saved always saved is a false doctrine. The first sin and deception in the garden of Eden was precisely that! -you surely shall not die said the serpent. Satan convinced Eve that her disobeying God wasn’t going to have consequence. Yet it was her very disobedience that put a number to our days. And when God said you shall die if you eat from this tree, he meant the eternal death which was punishment for our disobedience. In 1 Corinthians, Paul talks about becoming disqualified. There are multiple verses that state you can fall away from grace. We can choose to walk away from grace if we are living in sin and rebellion. Take Lucifer as an example: He was booted out of heaven! And he took a third of the Angels with him. God gave him freedom of choice. Same for us brethren. The Bible says that whose who stand firm till the end shall be saved. It’s a narrow gate because not to many will enter through it. People want to do what they want vs what the Lord has asked of us. YES YOU CAN LOSE SALVATION.”
“I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.” Jude 5
Dan Wallace, who is known as one of the leading Greek scholars today, had this to say regarding “belief” as shown by the original languages of the Bible:
“The present was the tense of choice most likely because the NT writers by and large saw continual belief as a necessary condition of salvation.” (Wallace, Greek Grammar: Beyond the Basics, p.621, footnote 22)
God is good and merciful…. and He’s also holy, and just, and going to damn the souls of all who got saved and then drifted and fell away. IF YOU are going to say “they never got saved in the first place,” YOU have called the Son of God a liar – because HE invented the phrase “fall away.” (Luke 8:13) Jesus would not have taught something that isn’t possible. Repent heretic.
Is Falling from Saving Grace Possible?
Eternal Security / OSAS is a lie from hell.

Worshipping the God of all Grace through the Fiery Trials [podcast]
“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” 1 Peter 1:7
“In the world ye shall have tribulation”
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
“There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” Isaiah 57:21
WE the body of Christ, are a separate entity from the world (2 Corinthians 6:14-18). We are here on earth for but a short time more—saved and sent to do Christ’s Great Commission (Matthew 9:35-38; 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; John 4:34-38). Jesus foretold that these final days before His return would be tumultuous (Matthew 24; Luke 21). And to “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me” (John 14:1).
“Let not your heart be troubled” … and when we begin to perceive the big picture of the LORD, it will be easier to not be “troubled” in “the sufferings of this present time” (Romans 8:18).
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27
Making biblical sense of the suffering.
Makes us want to go home and to live like it (Daniel 12:10).
“The sufferings of this present time” are a mere speed bump saints. We are going to eternal glory with our King Jesus!
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
Nothing can separate God and His true saints—those who are hearing His voice presently and following, walking with Him, abiding in vital union with Jesus (John 10:27-29; 15:1-6).
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-39
DO WE have the “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him” spirit and disposition of the beloved Job?
“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” Job 13:15
Going though a season of testing and trials and yet not worshipping God through it all, is a waste. Personally I had to learn this the hard way.
God has been so wonderfully gracious to teach this disciple!
“I am understanding Job in a new way. Old Adam wants to see it as a punishment, or an injustice, and this belief is subtle and corrosive.” Justin Ballis
“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 5:10-11
Final Greetings
“By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.” 1 Peter 5:12
Knowing it’s God’s stated will for us to worship, love, and trust Him at all times—and in particular in the midst of that which He sees fit to allow us to go through….. is vital. Personally I chose initially to do laps in the desert and so such delayed getting to His promised land of peace. God is able beloved.
The LORD is “a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons” of His kingdom.
“And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.” Malachi 3:3
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2
“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10
“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” 1 Peter 1:7
“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” Job 13:15
Are we worshiping our LORD in the midst of our seasons of suffering? Have we of late looked up and said, “Jesus, I love You“?
What’s God worth to me? How much does He matter? Is Jesus truly my very “first love”? See Revelation 2:4-5.
Worshiping God in this presently dark world will bring sufferings and ultimately eternal glory with Him and the true body of Christ.
What would we think of the man, the husband who didn’t defend his wife? He’s a self-serving coward, who loves himself more than his wife, right? What if we refuse to suffer for Heaven’s King that we claim to love? Wouldn’t this prove that we love self more than the Savior?
“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 5:10-11
It’s in our sufferings that we discover, we find out, we come to understand about God’s sufficiency. See James 1:2-4; 1 Peter 5:10.
“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3
Being “hid with Christ in God” is how the LORD powers us through, past the many afflictions to be suffered by Christ’s saints.
“There is a beauty in being rejected, misunderstood, unseen, and unsupported by people. It teaches you to rely on God for everything.” unknown
“the fiery trial which is to try you”
“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.” 1 Peter 4:12-14
“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:5-9
“Weeping (death and burial—suffering the death of self) may last through the night, but joy (resurrection) comes with the morning.” Psalm 30:5

The Book of Titus Overview [podcast]
“Loved this podcast. Thank you. One word that stuck out to me was pattern! Titus 2:7. I missed that word in that verse. The Holy Spirit is aways teaching us. Since this word was new to me I went to King James Dictionary: ‘Anything cut of formed into shape of something to be made after it. Pattern to imitate or follow.’ I think I now understand. Let Him shape and mold you. Pattern your life after Christ. Jesus was our perfect pattern!” Karen Cochran
“Though the Old Testament never directly mentions Crete (shown in inset), this island had a significant impact on the history of Israel. Crete was home to the ancient city of Knossos and the great Minoan civilization, the first advanced society in Europe, which flourished from before the time of Abraham until around the time of Moses. As this civilization declined, many people from Crete and mainland Greece began to migrate in vast numbers to new lands further east, including Israel. This is likely how the Philistines came to inhabit the Mediterranean coast of southern Israel. In the centuries that followed, various world powers gained control over Crete until finally it came under the rule of Rome, which grouped it together with the area around Cyrene on the North African coast to form a single province. (Cyrene was the home of a man named Simon, who carried Jesus’ cross for him after Jesus was no longer able to carry it.) As Paul was on his way to stand trial in Rome (Acts 27), he sailed along the southern coast of Crete, and there the captain lost control of the ship in a storm while attempting to reach safe harbor at Phoenix. The sailors became terrified that they would run aground on the sandbars of Syrtis, but instead they were driven by the storm to the island of Malta much further west, and the crew was saved.”
Abraham was born around 2166 BC
Moses – between 1391–1271 BCE.
Acts 27 and the Journey to Rome:
“The Apostle Paul was shipwrecked on Crete while on his way to Rome. His ship took shelter at a harbor on the southern coast called Fair Havens, near the city of Lasea.”
Of the book of Titus, one source notes the following:
“The Book of Titus is a letter from Apostle Paul to his protégé Titus, who was tasked with establishing order and appointing leaders in the churches on the island of Crete. The letter contains guidance on selecting qualified elders, combating false teachings, and instructing believers to live godly, grace-empowered lives that demonstrate the gospel’s transforming power through good works and upright conduct.”
The Holy Ghost led Paul to set up God-fearing “elders in every city” to rebuke and to stop the deceivers and their lies and to establish the truth “sound doctrine.”
“For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: … 9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. 10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: 11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.” Titus 1:5,9-10
To the “young men” and every disciple of Jesus (Titus 2:6).
“In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.” Titus 2:7-8
“Good works” or “Good work” appear 6 times in Titus.
“They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every GOOD WORK reprobate.” Titus 1:16
“In all things shewing thyself a pattern of GOOD WORKS: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity.” Titus 2:7
“Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of GOOD WORKS.” Titus 2:14
“This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain GOOD WORKS. These things are good and profitable unto men.” Titus 3:8
“And let ours also learn to maintain GOOD WORKS for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.” Titus 3:14

Loving not our Lives unto the Death [podcast]
Just WHAT do we need to “remember” about “Lot’s wife”? (Luke 17:32)
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” Revelation 12:11
Will you finish with joy?
“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24
IN previous generations, young men and women gave up their whole life of luxury in America to go to a foreign land to preach the Gospel of Christ. Today we have a generation of professing “Christians” who won’t so much as give up a penny to support the preaching of the Gospel of the glorious Savior they claim to be saved by.
Remember how our LORD Jesus taught that those who love and therefore are obedient to Him, will hear Him welcome them into glory with “Well done … enter thou into the joy of thy lord”? Those who are truly known of God prove their love for Him by the way they steward the resources He gave them. Loving not our Lives unto the Death.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21
Paul counted, considered, viewed everything he’d gained in this world to be but “dung” in comparison to Christ, then said:
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14
Luke 17:28-33
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot’s wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Attention Eternal Security Adherents
The fact that your unrepentant heart wants something to be true, does not make it true.
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12
It simply doesn’t matter how seriously and sincerely you are in believing the fairytale myth of “eternal security” or “once saved always saved” … you are dead wrong and so are the demonic wolves who taught this heresy to you. Repent, deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Jesus for real! (Luke 9:23-24)
