Saved by grace and yet can’t fall from saving grace? Lie! Repent, you are a false teacher!
The little “eternal security” fairy tale won’t fly on Judgment Day.
Recently I was accused by a person who adheres to the eternal security heresy of being religious and not holding to the grace of God. Here’s my response:
Holding to the truth, Bible, is not religion. You have no clue of the saving grace of God and how it can be done despite to, failed, and fallen from (Jude 4; Titus 2:11-12; Galatians 5:4; Hebrews 10:29; 12:14-15, etc.).
God’s Word actually, specifically informs us that you are one of the “ungodly men” who are corrupting, perverting the grace of God by making it a license for sin and are to be “earnestly” contended against (Jude 3-4).
“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” 2 Peter 2:20-21
That “knowledge” was saving knowledge – They “ESCAPED THE POLLUTIONS OF THE WORLD through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” No unsaved person would possibly “escape(d) the pollutions of the world” unless it were “through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 2:20-21)
When people use “eternal security” they refer to the heresy of an un-conditional security, no matter how they are living.
1 John 3
“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.” 1 John 3:5-10
SO, you aren’t personally responsible to “endure to the end” abiding in Christ? If this is your idea, you’ve openly called the Son of God a liar (Matthew 10:22; 24:13; John 15:6, etc.).
COUNTERFEITS who hide behind their OSAS fairy tale HATE this biblical reality and are willing to call the LORD a liar in order to retain this heresy – “And he that overcometh, and KEEPETH my works UNTO THE END, to him will I give power over the nations:” (Revelation 2:26)
COMMON OBJECTION TO EXPOSING OSAS:
“It sounds you you’re teaching a works-righteousness salvation.”
RESPONSE:
It sounds like you are lukewarm and dishonest, deceitful, hiding behind a heresy, and want to live in sin and not be bothered with obeying the Savior you claim to be saved by! If so, you are a counterfeit.
GOD DESPISES AND DISAGREES WITH OSAS
Many are taught that faith or believing is a one-time event and yet, the Bible teaches otherwise. While saving faith begins at one instant, when a person repents and believes on the LORD Jesus Christ, it certainly doesn’t end there. And, continual, ongoing, abiding faith is required to enter glory!
“If a man abide (remain) not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:6
If Jesus used the term “fall away” then how is it not possible? Any person who claims a truly saved person can’t “fall away” is call the Son of God a liar.
“They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation FALL AWAY.” Luke 8:13
Also, how could someone possibly “fall away” from something they never possessed? Impossible.
Did God waste a lot of Scriptures warning us not to lose our salvation?
Those truly “saved to begin with” CAN:
- Depart from the faith (1 Timothy 4:1) …notice the word “faith.” Sinners were never in the faith, only Christians.
2. Err from the faith (1 Timothy 6:10, 21)
3. Cast off their faith (1 Timothy. 5:12)
4. Make shipwreck of their Faith (1 Timothy 1:19)
5. Fall from grace (Galatians 5:4)
6. Remove themselves from Him who called them and turn to a different gospel (Galatians 1:6)
7. Receive the grace of God in vain (2 Corinthians 6:1)
8. Err from the truth, upsetting the faith of some (2 Timothy 2:18)
9. Let slip the truth (Hebrews 2:1)
10. Have an evil heart of unbelief, leading us to depart from the living God (Hebrews 3:12)
11. Be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13)
12. Fail to hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end (Hebrews 3:14)
13. Fail to attain the promise of entering into His rest (Hebrews. 4:1)
14. Fail to enter His rest because of unbelief (Hebrews 4:11)
15. Fall away and be impossible to restore again unto repentance (Hebrews 6:4-6)
16. Willfully go on sinning and no longer have a sacrifice for sins (Hebrews 10:26-27)
17. Draw back from the faith (Hebrews 10:38)
18. Fail of the grace of God (Hebrews 12:15)
19. Err from the truth and die in sin (James 5:19-20)
20. Forsake the right way and go astray (2 Peter 2:15)
21. Become entangled and overcome by the pollutions of the world AFTER having escaped them and turn from the holy commandment (2 Peter 2:20-21)
22. Be led away with the error of the wicked and lose their steadfastness (2 Peter 3:17)
23. Commit a sin leading to death (1 John 5:16)
24. Stop abiding in the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9)
25. Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you are reprobate? (2 Corinthians 13:5)
26. Remove themselves (free choice) from the grace of Christ, for a different gospel (Galatians 1:6)
27. Turn away from righteousness: “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die” Ezekiel 18:24.
Yes, God disagrees with OSAS.
WHY do we have the book of Galatians if born again believers can’t be “bewitched”, deceived, and fall from saving grace (Galatians 3:1-3; 5:4).
“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; YE ARE FELLEN FROM GRACE.” Galatians 5:4
Can’t remove yourself?
Galatians 1:6
“I marvel that ye are so soon REMOVED from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:”
The LORD “cut off” His own people the Jews and here in the New Testament warns that He will do the same to His people today if they rebel.
“Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.” Romans 11:20-21
The original, the real Gospel includes remaining in Christ to the END – or perishing! (Matthew 10:22; 24:13; John 15:6, etc.)
SHOULD YOU be concerned that you die with no sin? YEP. Yet, so many do not wish to be bothered to truly repent and become personally accountable to the LORD for their every thought and action. Why? They are full of self – the love of self – and not the love of the Savior. They refuse to truly repent and will pay the eternal price for the wages of sin which is still death (Romans 6:23; 2 Timothy 3:1-7, etc.). So many who claim to be saved are lukewarm, ready to be spued, with no fear of God, and loving their ear-tickling false teachers who assure them “eternal security” or “once saved always saved” just like Satan promised the first man and woman before they fell from grace (Genesis 2:17; 3:4; 2 Timothy 3:1-7; 4:2-4; Jude 4, etc.).
“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19
Modern “pastors” will not preach holiness. They definitely won’t preach “perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1
If you are looking to feel security and not obeying God’s Word, you are a self-deceived, hell bound cross-less counterfeit. Today is your day to hear the voice of the LORD and come to Him afresh in repentance, before it’s too late (Hebrews 3:6, 12-15).
Brother Scott Macdonald writes:
“Just a point to consider; If a household is thine own then you are the head of it and it should abide in and by your rule, and as a believer in Christ Jesus, so your life and household should follow thereby.”
“But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.” Hebrews 3:6
John Umlauf captures the deceit of those who dishonestly seek to promulgate Satan’s OSAS heresy:
“What?? That can’t happen! Don’t you know I can take other verses from the Bible and use them to disprove that and still keep believing no one is ever lost after they’ve once been saved? Haven’t you ever heard of Bible hopscotch where you skip over the verses that don’t line up with the theology you’ve been indoctrinated with?”
OSAS dupes cling to John 10:28-29 and don’t even know what Jesus’ preceding words say (v27). They deliberately ignore John 15:6 and mountains of Scripture. WHY? They have not truly repented. No, they said a prayer and some wolf told them they were saved forever (Luke 8:12-13). Some of them actually did repent and yet have since backslidden – fallen away (Luke 8:13). All the lukewarm are going to hell if they don’t repent. All it takes to go to hell is to be found “lukewarm.” (Revelation 3:15-16)
Eternal Security – OSAS Busted and Exposed!
Heidi Velarde writes: “Once saved always saved is a false doctrine. The first sin and deception in the garden of Eden was precisely that! -you surely shall not die said the serpent. Satan convinced Eve that her disobeying God wasn’t going to have consequence. Yet it was her very disobedience that put a number to our days. And when God said you shall die if you eat from this tree, he meant the eternal death which was punishment for our disobedience. In 1 Corinthians, Paul talks about becoming disqualified. There are multiple verses that state you can fall away from grace. We can choose to walk away from grace if we are living in sin and rebellion. Take Lucifer as an example: He was booted out of heaven! And he took a third of the Angels with him. God gave him freedom of choice. Same for us brethren. The Bible says that whose who stand firm till the end shall be saved. It’s a narrow gate because not to many will enter through it. People want to do what they want vs what the Lord has asked of us. YES YOU CAN LOSE SALVATION.”
“I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.” Jude 5
Dan Wallace, who is known as one of the leading Greek scholars today, had this to say regarding “belief” as shown by the original languages of the Bible:
“The present was the tense of choice most likely because the NT writers by and large saw continual belief as a necessary condition of salvation.” (Wallace, Greek Grammar: Beyond the Basics, p.621, footnote 22)
God is good and merciful…. and He’s also holy, and just, and going to damn the souls of all who got saved and then drifted and fell away. IF YOU are going to say “they never got saved in the first place,” YOU have called the Son of God a liar – because HE invented the phrase “fall away.” (Luke 8:13) Jesus would not have taught something that isn’t possible. Repent heretic.
Is Falling from Saving Grace Possible?

Tried. Trusted. Blessed. [podcast]

CAN God Trust You?
WHO is God going to bless? WHO is going to “abound with blessings”?
“A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.” Proverbs 28:20
Beloved of God, let us always remember that God only rewards and promotes those who are faithful right where they are with whatever they have in their possession to use for His glory. This is the truth we see throughout Holy Scripture, including in Jesus’ parable of the talents in Matthew 25. May God bless each of us to serve Him by serving others—right where we are, right now, with whatever we have—taking no thought for tomorrow but rather trusting Him to provide all (Matthew 6:33-34).
Christ’s Parable of the Talents: What is our LORD Teaching us here?
Trustworthy Faithful ABRAHAM—Faithfulness
“Always remember that God is looking to see if we will be faithful in the small things before He puts us in charge of much.” Frank Telford
Read Hebrews 11 this weekend. See what the heroes of the faith endured and yet remained faithful to the LORD. God remains faithful, even when men do not remain faithful to Him. Yet He’s faithful to Himself — not to those who deny Him. “He cannot deny himself” and yet He will deny those who deny Him the place of reigning in their personal lives (Revelation 2:4-5).
“It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 1 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” 2 Timothy 2:11-13
The lives of the patriarchs and apostles make it clear that none of us could possibly come to know and to trust the LORD deeply until we walk with Him, love, worship, serve, and obey Him by faith as He leads us through this life—through seasons of thick and thin, little and much. Faith is forged in fiery trials and not in fairy tales of false faith by those who recline on fancy furniture instead of fighting ferocious foes. Jesus Christ is KING—and we can’t know Him closely until we begin to suffer with Him.
“The goodness of God! Wow! Love it! I have never seen Gods goodness more than I have in the last few months! It makes me cry whenever I realize all He has done for me. I have been blessed beyond measure. I am so blown away that God has met me in the deep valleys.” Karen Cochran
“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:5-9
Might you choose to pray as did the apostles? – “Increase our faith” (Luke 17:5).
Not only should we ask God to “Increase our faith” but also to teach us to be faithful to Him. God will bless those who are faithful to Him—those who are loyal and serve Him obediently through thick or thin, in riches or poverty, through sunshine or rain.
WHERE are God’s eyes and blessings focused?
“Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.” Psalms 101:6
Does this verse above remind us of the words of 2 Chronicles 16:9?
WHO wants God’s gaze, gifts, and blessings upon them?
I do!
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9
Are you presently blessable beloved of God?
The LORD could trust Abraham. Can He trust us? Can the LORD trust me? Am I faithful to Him?
Even before God tested Abraham to see if he would offer his only and promised son, the LORD says this of Abraham:
“For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” Genesis 18:19
Of the heroes of the faith who’ve gone before us, God’s testimony of them is that they “confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” Remember beloved of God, like them, we are passing THROUGH this life on earth. We are not here to stay.
“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country (heavenly New Jerusalem), that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.” Hebrews 11:13-16
Abraham’s willingness to offer his beloved son Isaac as a sacrifice to God is a type, a foreshadowing of the Father offering up Christ to be crucified, buried, and raised again to pay the ultimate redemption price for the sins of mankind (Genesis 22).
“By faith Abraham, when he was tried (tested), offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,” Hebrews 11:17
Investing in Christ’s eternal kingdom while on earth. This is what Jesus instructed us to do.
“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
“God commands obedience first and foremost! Abraham obeyed the Lord God’s call on his life when he was told to go and leave the country he was in and leave all behind for a destination unknown. He had to completely follow and depend on the Lord. A test of his faith. We know he did obey the word of the Lord, packed up his family and left all behind for a land unknown to him. Genesis 12.” Karen Cochran
The LORD is always faithful. He has never failed one of His children, ever. Dare we stop here to reminisce how He found and saved us?
Liza Young writes: “At first, life seems to be at a dead end, then we make our way to the SAVIOR, realizing we dare not go forward without the assurance of HIS presence. As we completely trust in HIM, HE helps us face the future by walking with us each step of the way. GOD ‘S wonderful promise in Isaiah 41:10.”
Heavenly Father, please grant Your people to have clean, clear, pure hearts and consciences. Right this moment, I re-turn to You now, afresh dear LORD—bringing words of repentance and confession of all and any sin. In Jesus’ name, amen.
“O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. 2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.” Hosea 14:1-2

“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” James 1:25
Get saved.
Continue. Abide. Or perish (John 15:1-6).
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15
Are We Blessable?
Or, are we…..
out of Bible order
and
out of Bible blessings?
God will bless no man who doesn’t love Him enough to obey Him.
God doesn’t need us.
God’s Testimony of Abraham
WE CAN TRUST GOD BUT CAN GOD TRUST US? The LORD could trust Abraham, our example of faith (Romans 4). Can He trust you? Are you trustworthy? What do you do when no man is looking? God sees all, right?
“And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” Genesis 18:17-19
What did God know about Abraham? Shall we review?
“For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” Joshua 24:15
There are conditions to receiving God’s blessings. One must meet those conditions to walk in God’s blessings. The LORD reveals to us here that He is going to bring His full blessings on Abraham because He could trust Abraham to trust Him and obey Him. Note that God could trust Abraham because Abraham was obedient to Him and also notice that the promises the LORD made to Abraham were contingent upon Abraham continuing to obey the God. They were conditional.
“And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:11-12
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich“ (Proverbs 10:4). If you will be rich you must diligently seek the LORD…
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
Who is Going to be Blessed?
“A FAITHFUL MAN shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.” Proverbs 28:20
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, please unite my heart to fear Thy name, to number my short days upon the earth, and to bless my life to be fruitful for Your eternal glory this day, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Harvest is Coming for all those Sowing the Seed of the Word [podcast]

The Joy and Expectation of Seed Sowing
What we sow, we can expect to reap (Galatians 6:7-8).
As we continue to sow the good, the incorruptible seed of God’s Word into the hearts of men, good news will continue to flow, will continue to be reaped – because God’s Word prospers in the thing where He sends it! See also 1 Peter 1:23.
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11
The following song captures the need, the importance, and the urgency of reaching the lost souls around us:
Voices, by the band Harvest
Words and Music by Jerry Williams
Voices in the city, voices in the street.
Voices in each home across the land.
Voices in the churches, saying “Peace, be still.”
Where are all the voices in My fields?
Chorus:
Millions and millions dying.
Millions and millions crying.
Millions and millions don’t know who I am.
Children on the highways
Children on the run.
Mothers in the alley ways,
They’re killing all their sons.
The world is blinded in darkness.
I’ve given them the way.
Where are all My voices to lead them out today?
(Repeat chorus)
Where are the millions who love Me?
Where are the millions who say they know Me?
Where are the millions who’ll stand and follow Me?
Exactly where you are is part of “all the world.”
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Mark 16:15-16
Also, Jesus gives His Gospel as an ultimatum. Is Jesus intending that we bring the hearers of His Gospel to a decision? Seems like it. Read the passage again.
“So today I was driving through our town and saw a guy sitting on his porch reading a Jesus tract! Praise Jesus. I prayed that the words he was reading would be sealed in his heart! They are being left throughout our town. Everyday I put one on top of a newspaper stand. It is always gone next day! Seeds of God’s Word are being planted all over our town and will not return void! Isaiah 55:11. Hallelujah!” Karen Cochran
As Christ’s laborers our duty, getting the seed of our LORD’s Word into the hearts of the people, is of the utmost divine priority.
“The seed is the word of God.” Luke 8:11
Sinners are brought to Jesus, are born again, by way of the incorruptible seed of the Word of God being sown into their hearts.
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 2:23
When His seed is sown, God can bring the increase of conviction, drawing, and salvation (John 12:32; Romans 1:16, etc.).
“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:6-9
The conversion of the soul to Christ comes by way of the Word of God.
“The law (Word) of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.” Psalm 19:7
What’s the future look like for those who sow, plant God’s Word in the hearts of men?
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves (harvest) with him.” Psalms 126:5-6
“Just letting you know I’ve been putting those JESUS tracts in empty gym lockers when I go to the gym and praying that God’s Spirit moves on the hearts of the people that get one! And as you know He can do it! Have a Blessed Day.” Laurie Cox
Read, download the print-ready pdf of the JESUS tract here.
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
“1 Corinthians 15: 58. This verse is for all of us who labor for the Lord. We are to be unshakable. Letting nothing move us from the hope of the gospel. We are servants of Christ ever ‘abounding in the work of the Lord.’ Abounding in the furthering of the gospel. Our labor ‘in the Lord’ will be rewarded. Yesterday the Lord gave me a small reward seeing that man sitting on his porch reading the Jesus tract. And since we are laborers together it is a small reward for all of us! We, each member of Christ’s body, the world over, are team Jesus! And He is our eternal reward! We shall be with Him forever in the New Jerusalem!” Karen Cochran
“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:10-12
YOUR PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You sent Your only begotten Son to rescue, to forgive, to save me. If You can find and save me, You can find and save anyone! Please prepare and use me LORD Jesus. Into Thy holy hands I here and now submit my spirit to Thee dear LORD. I love You Jesus. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Did you realize that the person or people you pray for are given a fresh and greater portion of “the Spirit of Jesus Christ”? According to this insightful truth out of the Holy Spirit inspired pen of the apostle Paul, the Father in Heaven blesses those we lift in prayer with the blessed Person and work of the Holy Spirit. “The spirit of Jesus Christ” is dispensed and poured out into the hearts and lives of those we pray for! This is what Paul told us was happening to him as the saints prayed for him.
Prayerlessness is Sin
Make no mistake, prayerlessness is a sin. Prayerlessness is direct disobedience to the command of God. Prayerlessness is a manifestation of faithlessness. Prayerlessness is the epitome of self-trust and self-dependency. Prayerlessness is the rejection of God in your life – the refusal to trust Him (Matthew 26:41).
“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41
YOUR PRAYER LIFE IS A CLEAR MEASURE OF HOW MUCH YOU LOVE GOD-OR NOT. love, to seek, to worship, and to trust Him. No need to seek God in prayer when pride and self-sufficiency reign on the throne of one’s heart.
The power of God working in us will be according to that which comes into us as we pray (Matthew 26:41).
PRAYER: Father in Heaven, in the name of Jesus, please forgive me for taking prayer communion, supplications (humble requests), praying for others, and prayer requests for granted. Forgive me also for the sin of prayerlessness and for not lifting others in prayer more. Thank You LORD for the unspeakable, incredible blessing of prayer. Your perfect sacrificial blood on that cross made our access to the Father possible and speaks for Your people in Heaven right now and forevermore! Jesus, please bless Your people to be faithful to request those things You have revealed in Your Word for each other! Thank You Father for pouring out Your Holy Spirit upon Your people afresh this hour and also every time we lift each other to You in prayer! Thank You right now for the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ being poured out on Your beloved people. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
