“The Truth needs to be proclaimed, yes even at the grocery store.  I had an amazing interaction Sunday at the store, and I’ve asked the Lord to use me whenever and wherever He can. I was telling the cashier I was short on money, and had to put something back.  I know he is a Christian, so I said, ‘I’m one of the richest people on earth, so don’t let it fool you.’ Then a customer in line asked, ‘Can I have your number?’ My reply: ‘I am a Christian who is a member of the wealthiest family on earth. We have room for you if you care to join us!’ Of course everyone in line heard me, and I’m positive Doug the cashier was sooooooo pleased with my open invitation to several people that day!” Jaye

UPDATE: Recently, earlier in the morning, I prayed that God would use His people, including myself. More grocery store evangelism. Just a few hours later, after parking at the grocery store, I headed toward the store and an older man handed me his basket. He had an NFL football team’s jacket on and so I asked him about how his team is doing. He lit up and spoke about that team. I simply listened and then, began to minister the Gospel, the Good News of how Jesus came to the earth to die on the cross for our sins and how He calls us to admit we are sinners and believe upon Him. He was also informed that there are millions in hell right now, who will never escape, because they didn’t stop their life and repent…… God is good saints. Isaiah 55:11    

To say that the Great Commission is a big deal with God is a gross understatement. It has no significance with wolves who could care less that Jesus died to save those He commands us to reach. Wolves are consumed with budgets, building, and branding – with nickels, noses, and numbers. Repent now and follow Jesus.

RECENTLY: Once again, as I was leaving the grocery store, headed for my vehicle, a dear lady who was driving into the parking lot, arriving to get groceries, rolled down her window and asked me if she could have my basket. I said sure. Then, to seize this opportunity for Christ, I asked her if she liked reading and she said “Yes.” I then asked if she likes devotional books as I opened the copy of the Moments with Our Master devotional I was handing her, showing her a random day and showing her the format is a one-per-day with Scripture, a little talk about that Bible truth, and a prayer. She loved it and received it gladly. So simple.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11

RECENTLY: More grocery basket evangelism! Again! I shop for groceries at a store where it takes a quarter to get the basket and then you get the quarter back when returning the basket. So, today I just put the basket back where it belongs and left the 25 cent piece in it as I carried my 2 bags to the vehicle. As I finished putting the bags in the bag of the vehicle, a dear lady brought my quarter to me! Totally kind gesture. I thanked her and as she was walking away I kindly asked her “Mam, do you like to read?” She stopped and gave a resounding “Yes.” So I said “Do you like devotional books? If so, I’d like to give you one if you wish.” And she said “Yes, thank you,” and was very appreciative. As usual I opened it and showed her how it’s just one page daily with a Scripture, a little talk, and a prayer at the end. She loved it! Bam!

Recently, while getting a haircut at a new place, I was able to give the gift of the Moments 365 devotional to the lady (the owner) who cut my hair and the hostess who takes the money. In every scenario I simply ask the person if they like devotional books and they usually say yes. Then I show them a copy and open it for them to see at which time they gladly receive the gift. These are like handing out candy!

Please keep the ministry outreach in prayer. The supply given by God’s people is vital to the requests coming in from Jesus’ laborers both here and abroad! God is able! See 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, etc.
