The Dynamics of the Daily Cross with Judge Travis Bryan III [podcast]

Is the “daily” cross optional, or is it a non-negotiable original Gospel essential?

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” Luke 9:23-24

What’s Jesus say here?

“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:27

“Your life is Hid”

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3

Death (dying) is where your victory awaits.

“For he that is dead is freed from sin.” Romans 6:7

WHO are the only people who get free and stay free of sin? Romans 6:7 memorize it.

Jesus Himself conquered sin and death by DYING (Hebrews 2:14).

Declare this now in prayer and out of your mouth!

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

WITH GOD, if you are fighting (God’s way – dying!), you are winning! He is raising you upward as you are going downward. The daily cross or you will suffer loss! Cry out now – “You must increase, but I must decrease (John 3:30).

“FIGHT the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12

Do you want to blow sin up and blow the devil up and out of your life?
