Are You Being Misled by a Corrupt Bible Version?

Thanks for your vigilance and consistency in the word of God.  As the scripture teaches us, you are a servant that does not strive, but is gentle unto all men, apt to teach, in meekness instructing those who oppose themselves that God peradventure will grant them repentance unto the acknowledging of the truth who are taken captive by the devil at his own will.  The present day church has been treating sin and it’s consequences as little and light by treating accuracy concerning the proper source for the words being used in modern versions of the Bible as little and light.  We are warned, as God’s beloved people, that a little leaven or a few words from the wrong source engenders false doctrine which leavens the whole lump.  Satan, the author of confusion, from the beginning of time has been at work creating doubt in the hearts and minds of God’s people by way of his “yea, hath God said” temptation.  He is now doing this by counterfeiting God’s authorized version of the Bible in his offering of so  many different ” versions” of the Bible ostensibly to make it easier to read while in reality ensnaring God’s people.

Satan, by way of counterfeit versions of the Bible, continues to throw doubt on God’s authorized version of His original text which, to the untrained eye, looks almost identical to the real thing.  Satan has produced so many spurious versions of the original text which our Father preserved for us over the years that hardly any Christians are sure anymore which version is the actual word of God such that they begin to think we can interpret the Bible any way we please with no consequences.  However, it remains that God has been absolutely faithful in preserving the original text according to His promise as recorded in the Psalms:

“The words of the Lord are pure words:  as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  Thou shall keep them O Lord, thou shall preserve them from this generation forever.”  –  (Psalms 12:6-7)

God has preserved the original text through copies made by those men He specifically designated to preserve His word in such detail  that not  one  “jot” or one “tittle” has passed or been lost over the 1500 or so years from the original manuscripts according to the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:18.  There are many who aren’t designated for this task and therefore, to Satan’s credit, there are many counterfeit versions of the Bible now in print.  Those designated by God to transcribe or copy His words from one parchment to another were very cognizant of the four (4) warnings concerning the curses that would come upon  them or anyone who knowingly and willfully added to, subtracted from, or altered His words in any way (Deu. 4:2; Prov. 30:5-6; Psa. 12:6-7; Rev. 22:18-19).  We all have a free will and can do whatever we like, but if we choose not to obey the accurate word of God then we will give account according to those accurate words on the last day.  Christians do well to remember that God authored the words of scripture, not men.  Designated men merely penned the words they received from the mouth of God.  No study of the customs of the times in which the Old Testament scriptures were written or the Pauline epistles were written nor any study of Moses or the apostle Paul’s personality have any bearing on the eternal word of God recorded in scripture.

The 1611 version of the King James Bible is the only version based on the original text.  To verify this, please check out a comprehensive study on this subject from a book my brother Floyd Nolan Jones authored entitled——“WHICH VERSION IS THE BIBLE.”

May God continue to bless you and your work,
