Apostasy

SHUNNED!

Shunned
for the Savior!

CONCLUSIVE PROOF THAT SOMEONE HAS FALLEN AWAY

“And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.” John 16:3

WHAT we are now witnessing is the unfolding of exactly what Jesus foretold of this last hour:

“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:10-13

—-WHY DO PROFESSING “CHRISTIAN” PEOPLE reject, shun, or persecute God’s children? First off, such a person who would have ill will toward another person is not a true Christian and this very fruit alone proves such (Romans 13:10; 1 John 4:8). Jesus told us exactly who does this and why they do this all while claiming they know Him.

“And these things will they do unto you, BECAUSE they have not known the Father, nor me.” John 16:3

Now here’s the passage:

“These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. 2 They shall put you out of the synagogues (signifies religious attacks): yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. 3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.” John 16:1-3

“Some SHALL Depart from the Faith”

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” 1 Timothy 4:1-2

But how do we actually and literally know (discern) who has and is departing from Christ? Great question.

Did Jesus tell us that we are to “know” (Gr. discern) others “by their fruits”? (Matthew 7:16, 20) Yes. In other words, we are to fruit inspect to discern and determine who we are dealing with. God never intended for His children to be blind fools. That’s what Satan wants and exactly what counterfeits seek to promulgate on the true remnant of Christ.

You’ve got the lost condition being uncovered of “many” who were at one time saved….. they are manifesting the fruit of their departure from Christ by their yoking with those who do not serve Christ. God’s Word tells us that a cardinal, earmark fruit that one is saved is their close fellowship with the true body of Christ – “They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” (1 John 2:19) This in no way means that these people didn’t once know the LORD and yet, they had since fallen away (Luke 8:13).

“Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. 14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” 1 John 3:13-15

You can know if someone is saved by the company they keep. It’s “because we love the brethren” that you know the true body of Christ. Listen closely: “We KNOW that we have passed from death unto life, BECAUSE WE LOVE THE BRETHREN. He that loveth not his brother abideth (remains) in death (the state of separation from Christ/lost soul).” (1 John 3:14)

They are only shunning you because in their hearts they have ALREADY shunned Christ who told us that “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”(Matthew 25:40)

Hated, Separated (shunned), Reproached, and Lied About

Yes they shun and avoid you from their company because their own hearts have waxed cold against Christ just as in the parable of the 10 virgins where 5 neglected fellowship with the bridegroom and ran out of oil and were shut out (Matthew 25:1-13). Listen to Jesus:
“Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. 22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. 23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.” (Luke 6:21-23)

Shut Out!

Persecution is sure proof that we are in Christ.

“But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:10-13

is proof for sure brother …. God forbid that we allow His light in us to dwindle and vanquish…. when we have His light, engaging in a daily abiding relationship, it surely will draw persecution from the dark hearts around us amen. Lk 6:22-26

The way someone treats children of God, is the way they are treating Jesus Himself. This is a litmus test. – “He that loveth not, knoweth not God.” (1 John 4:8)

Watch what Jesus reveals here concerning those who’ve fallen away in this late hour:

“But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beatthemenservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;” Luke 12:45

To “beat the menservants” simply refers to mistreating the LORD’s people – but shunning them.

You see, those who don’t gather with Christ’s children, are not of His flock.

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Oh, and speaking of true, New Testament fellowship, I do not speak of the delusional idea of gathering together being a Sunday morning event at some so-called “church” building. No, more like the early church fellowship we see in Acts 2:42-47.

Those who were in the past born again and they then shun Christ will wax cold towards His people just as Jesus told us they would. Ultimately, if they do not repent before it’s too late, they will be eternally and irrevocably shut out of His eternal kingdom.
