Devils and Inanimate Objects? [podcast]

ANY person attempting to worship God or gain favor or blessings via any physical image is an antichrist – one who has put something, anything before, in place of the living Savior – and is an idolater and has no part in Christ’s kingdom (Galatians 5:19-21; Revelation 21:8, etc.).

Symbols are images…. and God will not be worshipped via any devil-inspired man-made image.

“Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan (Egyptian idol), figures (pocket idol) which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.” Acts 7:43

Idol “images” today include any size stature of the pagan mother goddess queen of heaven Mary images, rosaries, scapulars, dream catchers, zodiac or skull or ankh symbols and jewelry….

Jesus told us that “God is a Spirit” and that the only way to worship He who is a Spirit, is to do so “in spirit and in truth.” This is the diametrical opposite of image, idol worship.

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24

Image worship, attempting to worship God via images is the concoction of devils and false prophets who seek to gain the allegiance of their captive prey unto themselves and prevent them from having a personal relationship with the LORD of glory.

Any person who believes that the LORD can be worshipped via any physical image of any kind is in completely deceived and in darkness (John 3:19-21).

After reading these verses of Scripture below, it seems fitting to ash: IF devils/demons cannot attach to or be given place by inanimate objects then why are we commanded to destroy them?

It’s best to burn or demolish those satanic artifacts whether it be “art,” pictures, or music by ungodly bands, etc. It would seem that devils can be given place due to artifacts. Read this:

“Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest (hate) it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.” Deuteronomy 7:26

“Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and DESTROY all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:” Numbers 33:52

“And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. 19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and BURNED THEM before all men (publicly): and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” Acts 19:18-20

Did Paul not tell us that behind all idols are “devils”?:

“What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? 20But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.” 1 Corinthians 10:19-21

The passage below seems to be specifically dealing with images/pictures that deal with God or angels, etc.

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;” Exodus 20:3-5

Saints, we are in an all out war and it’s a spiritual war. “Put on the whole armour of God” and “fight the good fight of faith.” (Ephesians 6:10-17; 1 Timothy 6:12)

Are You Armed and Dangerous?

Many times I have encountered demons and their wicked activity to steal, kill, and destroy but “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4; John 10:10).  We must be baptized with the Holy Ghost and learn to use the name above all names – Acts 1:8; Rev. 12:11; Matt. 10:1-8; Mark 16:15-20, etc. Get away from those lame cowards who call themselves pastors and refuse to teach the whole counsel of God’s Word and are mere clean-handed pulpit pansies.

Biblical Deliverance Prescription:

If you truly desire to be delivered from all oppression or possession of the enemy of all souls, you will read and heed this divine prescription – a guarantee for your liberty in Christ.

  • Set yourself apart (Psalms 4:3).
  • Seek the face of the LORD in a time of fasting and prayer (Isaiah 58; Matthew 17:21 KJB only – the new perversions have removed this verse).
  • Repent of all known sin in order to shut out the enemy by cancelling his legal right to you (James 4:7).
  • As we submit ourselves to the LORD, the enemy will be cast out and kept out in Jesus’ holy name (Mark 16:17; Acts 16:18; James 4:7; Matthew 12:43-45)
  • Ask God to baptize you with the Holy Ghost (Matthew 3:11; Luke 11:13; 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 2:1-4, 38-39; 8:14-17; 10:44-48; 19:1-6, etc.).
  • Memorize Hosea 10:12.
  • Pour over James 4:4-10.
  • Read and do Isaiah 58.
  • Memorize Mark 10:27.
  • Now, once delivered, you must keep your house – temple – clean and clear of all sin and this will keep Satan out (Matthew 12:43-45).
  • This will keep him from having legal right to your life through sin  (James 4:7).
  • Know that God is able and willing and desires to make you completely whole, set apart to Him, and free (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1).
  • Liberty is in Christ and staying rooted in Him (2 Corinthians 3:17).
  • Those who obey the LORD’s truth are made free (John 8:31-32, 36).
  • God wants us to speak with Him. So, come before the LORD with “words” of repentance, denunciation of all idols, and placing all your trust – the whole weight of your existence – upon Him (Hosea 14:1-3).

“Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil,
and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7
