“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.” 2 Peter 2:1-3 

When phony false prophets people have made idols of, are exposed, the prey/deceived want to try to discredit the people exposing the fraud. So, they attack with the truth that miracles and healings, and the baptism with the Holy Spirit are biblical. Truth and yet that fact in no way justifies the false prophets being exposed as counterfeits. These are separate issues. Any honest Bible student understands that the baptism with the Holy Ghost is God’s will for every believer and that God has always and still heals and does miracles. Yet, everyone running around with a charismatic stage show using fakery, is not of God and has nothing to do with the authentic Pentecostal experience which is of God and can and will stand the test of biblical discernment (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1

The authentic baptism with the Holy Ghost only confirms that there will be the counterfeiting of such by the very ministers of Satan (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). God’s Word told us that Satan has ministers who pose as Christ’s ministers:

“But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:12-15

NEVER lump true Spirit-filled Bible believers with BETHEL, NAR, charismatic frauds. These cults are not founded on biblical truth.

Not all who believe in being baptized with the Holy Spirit are charismaniacs….. Some seem to be fighting the wrong battle. Being filled with the Spirit of God is biblical, the NAR cult, charismatic movement are a mockery, a vain attempt to counterfeit the real filling of His Holy Spirit. We should separate the 2. Jesus told His own 12 not to attempt to do His ministry without His empowerment – Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; 2:38-39, etc.

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Acts 2:38-39

In fact ….

ANY preacher without the baptism with the Holy Ghost, is not qualified, not fueled by divine power. Jesus told His own 12 that they were not ready to minister in His holy name until they tarried in the city of Jerusalem, until they were filled with the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 2:1-4, 38-39, etc.). People in ministry without the baptism with the Holy Spirit are doing things in their own feeble intellectual mind power, self-willed, and not in the divine power of our God. It takes God’s power to do God’s work. And we wonder why there’s so many lame pastors today?

“I believe in all the scriptural Gifts of the Holy Spirit, BUT through my abundance of experience throughout the world and in my own country, I have come to the conclusion that 95+% of the so called “Gifts” that I have witnessed are demonic counterfeits, therefore these manifestations are NOT Biblical and NOT from the Holy Spirit.

     Are these defenders saying that no matter now sinful or apostate you become that once you have received Tongues or any other Gift of the Holy Spirit you have it for life???

     This eerily sounds similar to OSAS except instead of guaranteed salvation no matter how sinful or apostate you are, you can operate in the Gifts of the Spirit because they are “without repentance” therefore you are guaranteed the genuine Biblical operation of the Gifts of the Spirit such as Tongues no matter what????

     May God help us in this late dark hour.”

YES, the baptism with the Holy Ghost has never been more important than it is now, in this late hour when we are told in Holy Scripture that “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse.” (2 Timothy 3:13) | Holy Ghost Baptism

RECENTLY, a sister in Christ emailed asking about rightly dividing between authentic Pentecost and the false movements and manifestations that have perverted this gift of God which He intends for each and every one of His saints, without exception (Acts 2:38-39). Remember saints, the perversion of the truth and gift of God by some in no way NEGATES or in any way changes the truth of God and the authentic New Testament program of God – which includes the infilling of His Holy Spirit.
