~~~~The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a life or death message (Mark 16:16). As you know, this is not a game. The eternal souls of men are at stake and satan is claiming millions of souls Christ had previously saved (2 Peter 3:17). The enemy is claiming them for hell through his many false teachers. For honest Bible students, this is a reality.
Paul told one evil false prophet:
“And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?” Acts 13:10
Please pass this one on …. So others can hear His voice to “Come out” of the false modern church system – business (2 Corinthians 6:17; Revelation 18:4).
Remember that Paul said for the other believers not to be ashamed of his “chain” which represented the things he was suffering for obeying God by upholding our LORD’s original Gospel and that includes warning His people of the “MANY false prophets” Jesus told us would “deceive MANY,” especially in this late hour before His return (2 Tim. 1:8; Matt. 7:15; 24:4-5, 11, 24; 2 Timothy 3:12-13, etc.)
“Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;” 2 Timothy 1:8
They were not to be ashamed that Paul was a prisoner – thrown in jail often for preaching the Word of God. In the above words of the apostle Paul, notice the phrase “the afflictions of the gospel.” This reveals, as do mountains of other Scriptures, that there are “perilous (difficult) times” in the lives of true disciples in these last days. They suffer due to their stand for Christ and His Gospel. Does that include you? As Jesus and the apostle did, true men who are obedient to the divine call from Christ, preach, WARN, and teach in order to prepare Jesus’ people for His soon return (Colossians 1:28). And for doing this, they shall suffer great hatred, afflictions, persecutions, etc. And God will use those things as part of His plan to purge, wash, transform, and prepare them. See Daniel 11:32-35.
“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. 34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.” Daniel 11:32-35
—- THE THINGS that happen to us in this life, as Christ’s disciples, can be very hurtful and ugly. Think about how Joseph was unjustly jailed and Jeremiah and Paul, etc. Job lost all his children before God restored double to him (Job 1, 42). These sufferings, of which we must partake, are what we can witness in those who served Him in generations before us. But the spreading and blessing of the LORD’s Gospel will be the result! “The FURTHERANCE of the gospel” will always be the fruit, whether we realize it or not on this side of Heaven. – “But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me (his sufferings) have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel.” (Philippians 1:12)
What false teacher? – me! I was on the track/course to have a “thriving church” or more. I was lying to people. Perhaps I would have become a Word of Faith “rock star” but the LORD had mercy on my wretched soul, rebuked me by His truth, and brought me to repentance.
Find out more about this divine intervention and transformation in detail in three chapters titled “Confessions of a False Teacher” in the book Predators in Our Pulpits.
Usually, it is wise to refrain from speaking of ourselves and yet, like Paul, perhaps more often we should glory in our own infirmities/weakness.
ALL rewards – all accounts are not created equal. The balance in the account determines its value. Did you know that you – yes you – have an account in Heaven? (Philippians 4:17)
IF YOU are not involved in getting the Gospel to the lost and the saved, your life is not fulfilling a New Testament purpose. Firstly, your monies should be viewed as the gift of God and as a tool of worship and to further His eternal kingdom in the hearts of men (Proverbs 3:9-10; Acts 2:44-45; 4:32-35; 1 Corinthians 16:1-3, etc.). A set apart portion of the resources He is allowing into your temporary possession should be be going into the true work of the Gospel and to help those around you in need, especially Christ’s body. Second, your daily life must involve sowing the seed of God’s Word into the hearts of the lost and saved (to feed Christ’s sheep). It’s simple. Are you in? | Fruit Abounding to Your Account!
***NO! NO! NO! I am not rejoicing today due to any goodness of my own (whatsoever!)! -Because there is NONE! (Romans 7:18) No, the rejoicing we have is due to the goodness of our God poured out on the cross of Jesus Christ “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.” (1 Peter 1:8) God sent His only begotten Son “while we were yet sinners” to show mercy upon all who will “Come and take of the water of life freely”!!! He is Worthy to be Thanked!
Worried about what’s going to happen tomorrow or beyond? Jesus knew we would be tempted to do such and yet, He is seeking to get us to understand that we can “Be still and know” that He is God and He alone owns you and your future and all that will come your way! – “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matthew 6:34) Obey Jesus by refusing to worry!
“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication (humble request) with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
The rhythm of the Gospel, resulting in resurrection, always begins with death and burial. No shortcut will result in a divine raising up – there must always be the going down deep into the death of Christ. Then, without fail, God will raise up that bowed down disciple in His glorious power and grace! It does no good at all to avert such a Gospel imperative! Do not run from the cross beloved, run to it! Jesus awaits. This volume will greatly help you in learning the daily cross the Savior commanded. I Die Daily Have you read this book yet? If not, please order a copy and feel free to give a love offering for the work of Christ when you do (I hope you understand that I say this boldly due to Christ Himself and His mission to reach the people He bled to save!). All men have a problem – a sin problem – before and after salvation (Romans 6-8). And, the divine weapon against sin is the daily cross – the blood of Christ’s cross and the daily cross. Find out how this divine solution will solve the problem of sin in your daily life, and how the LORD desires to reign in His power unto greater and greater fruitfulness in your daily life. You are not going to be blessed with the victory until you do things His way – which is the daily cross Jesus commanded us to take up! (Luke 9:23-24) Die now or you will die eternally (Romans 8:13-14). You must go through the cross or you are on the wide way that leads to eternal destruction. Stop what you are doing right now. Cease. Desist. Sit before the LORD and evaluate your life as to what you are doing and where you are heading. I Die Daily | Raised Up
***WHAT ABOUT Romans 7? In Romans 7, it is certain that Paul is not contradicting himself by saying he was always sinning. In fact, he’s not admitting to any sin but rather to the war that raged in him. In Romans 5:19 he had just told us that through Adam’s sin “many were made sinners.” This in no way means that born again men MUST sin and can’t help but sin. Nothing could be further from the truth. “Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” (Romans 6:1-2) Especially after reading chapter 6, we know that God is holy and requires this same “spirit of holiness” in each of His people which always produces “fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.” (Romans 1:4; 6:22) Yet, there was a war raging inside of Paul and all men, though he did not act out those iniquities, they were nonetheless in him and had to be crucified. See Chapter 6 and 8:12-14, etc. Elsewhere the apostle spoke of this inner civil war and the necessity of crucifying the deeds of the body/flesh. He taught that it is necessary to “put off” to “crucify,” to “keep under” his “old man”and this is only possible by participation with Christ in the daily cross which brings the power of the Holy Spirit. Rom 8:13-14 is key! God sure is able! Many are now teaching that we have no sin nature which is heresy. Instead of denying this self-evident fact of biblical truth, we must overcome it – to dominate that evil bent – by the power of the Holy Ghost (Romans 8:12-14). Perhaps Paul made this no more crystal clear than what he wrote to the Galatian saints when he said: “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.” (Galatians 5:16-18) Your part, the key, is to die – “For he that is dead is freed from sin.” (Romans 6:7) You must die to be free! God will not bestow His resurrection presence and power upon your life unless you obey Him in the daily cross. When you do, He will raise you up as sure as you are this moment breathing (2 Corinthians 4:10-12). To be dead and buried with Christ, means that HE will raise you up in His power to please Him in all things. Did Jesus not tell us that He is “the resurrection and the life”? (John 11:25) THAT is the Gospel in your daily life – death, burial, resurrection. God has much larger plans for your life than just giving you His power to overcome sin (Romans 6:14). That just gets you to ground zero per se’. Jesus told us in John 15, in this order, that He wants to make us to bear “fruit,” “more fruit,” and then “much fruit.” (John 15:2, 5, 8) … The book “I Die Daily” has been written in order to help believers to learn this Gospel and the resurrection life of Christ. Saints, THIS is that victory that Jesus has ordained that you walk in – daily. Get this book and learn that daily cross – there are no shortcuts in the divine economy. ***ONE THING is for certain, we have all sinned against our Maker, the very Judge of our eternal souls and the wages of that sin is death (Romans 3:23; 6:23). The Savior is ready and willing to forgive all our sins in an instant if we will but come to Him, falling upon His mercy and placing our faith in Jesus Christ (repentance). – Jesus beckons: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30) May the LORD this hour, bless each of us to rid our hearts, minds, and thoughts of any vestige of self-righteousness and fully abandon ourselves, fleeing to Jesus, as we come to rest in Him, falling headlong into His “abundant mercy.” (1 Peter 1:3) Mug Shots and Mercy Moments
STUDY JESUS Today. “Learn of me” says the Son of God who bought you with His precious blood (Matthew 11:28-30; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 1 Peter 1:18-19). There could be no better use of the time He has allotted you in this brief life than to increase your personal knowledge of Him. Jesus Christ/Christology
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:1-5
We were created by Him to know Him (John 17:3). We are granted the privilege of seeking, knowing, and abiding intimate in Christ our LORD and Savior (John 15:1-16). – “Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” (1 John 1:3) It’s not enough to have mere head knowledge of Christ. One must choose to truly seek His face to know Him and to increase in the knowledge of Him (John 17:3; Philippians 3:10; 2 Peter 1:2; 3:18). The Pharisees knew the Bible, prophetic facts about their Messiah and yet, they refused to seek Him – they refused to come to Him in repentance and faith.
“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” John 5:39-40 | All the Treasure of Wisdom and Knowledge
WHO’s THE REAL BAD GUY NOW???? ARE YOU Being Exploited by a Pulpit Pimp? – “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” ~Apostle Paul, Galatians 4:16… WHO’s the real “bad guy”? SO, God’s watchmen who are warning you so you can be safe and secure from the fires of eternal damnation are the mean spirited ones right? So, ask yourself: When you are in hell, burning, suffering conscious, excruciating pain without end, WHO then will be the bad guy? If you die having followed these prophesied false prophets, you will have no one to blame but yourself – for being so gullible and foolish and not getting before the LORD in a real way. No, instead of loving the LORD and His truth/Word, you chose to follow the self-serving, thrill-seeking, greed-crazed crowd who made a circus out of “church.” What does 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 say? Why hasn’t the wolf you are following shown you this passage? JUST WHAT is he/she trying to hide from you? Once you are in hell, burning, how wonderful will you think these wolves are then and for eternity when it’s too late? ANGRY MAN IN HELL
— PLENTY! According the LORD’s instructions to each of us, what is the very first check to write out when we get paid?
“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.“ Proverbs 3:9-10
How did He instruct us to “honour” Him in the words above?
“Hi…It’s me again…I just have to tell you that you are a man with great depth! In God! I love the boldness …you just won’t waver or sugar coat…I just want you to know that I am praying for you….again, its not easy……hope all is well and keep up the good fight!” Joyce – More FEEDBACK From the Body here.
Saints, if we limit ourselves to what a local church gives us of God’s Word, in most cases, we will have but a miniscule, pitiful portion of the bounty of the everlasting God. – “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” (Psalms 103:2) Are you digging in the treasure chest of His Word to know Him more and to unearth the rich blessings held in His “exceeding great and precious promises”? (2 Peter 1:3-4) The Precious Promises of the LORD (edifying audio)
The LORD be praised for those who have given to Christ’s work in the past. You are among the vast minority. 99% of those who receive from the few sound ministries in this late hour have never bothered to help this work of our LORD. So, that makes your willingness to help so much the more important. The LORD promises you will be rewarded – eternally! Your continued giving is vital to the sustenance and fruitfulness of divinely-ordained, true New Testament ministries. Trust me: If they are telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but God’s truth, they are in need of your help! People don’t rush to give to those who endeavor to preach the full-counsel of our LORD’s Word. No, in fact, they get offended and run to the ear-tickling ministers of Satan (2 Corinthians 11:12-15; 2 Timothy 4:2-4). And, the sad fact is, that most who get fed by ministries, never bother to give of what God has put into their hands to further His work. In fact, many reading these very words have thousands saved up for a rainy day, preserving your life in this present, fleeting, sinful world, and will not bother to help (1 Timothy 6:6-19).
***STARTING a “ministry” doesn’t make you significant. Giving yourself a title doesn’t make you significant. The fact that He made you and especially knowing Him who made and died for you is why you are significant. He calls you to come and die that you might eternally dine with Him, His Father, and His saints of all ages! The Great Supper of the Lamb awaits! We are only complete in Jesus Christ. Prayerfully read Colossians 1-2 until the divine truth in this portion of Holy Scripture begins to consume your heart and life. We should stop with the “trying harder” and begin now to obey God by dying harder/deeper (John 12:24-26). Find out here exactly how true ministry that glorifies God is brought about – God’s way. ***NO, I’m not trying to get more Jewish. Nope! The ONE I have been saved by is the Ultimate Jew. You can have your far inferior mere shadow, I want my Savior! Also, the true, born again disciple of Jesus is complete in Jesus Christ alone, you know, the One who perfectly fulfilled what those obsolete, abolished OLD Testament shadows merely pointed to? – but He’s now come in the flesh! | Beware of Dogs! (audio expose’)
Just as you think no more work could go into the work of the ministry, God brings more of His sheep to nourish up and more helpers and now we still need more who will financially fund. Every dollar counts and we are so very grateful for those who are joining us in HIS Gospel work of feeding His blessed sheep/saints as He commanded and reaching out to lost souls who don’t yet know Him and stand today in jeopardy of hell fire.
Some are beginning to get it. Jesus is speaking to their hearts and they are learning what it means to lay down their lives as He said is a must to follow Him. They are setting aside self to truly serve the Savior. Many of them are being called outside the modern physical church so they can learn to walk with Jesus in a real way – daily and moment to moment – and to no longer be drawn to worship at the altar of self via the apostate local churches “who mind earthly things.” (Phil. 3:18-19)
Regrettably, most ministries are all about promoting that ministry or church organization and not about elevating the only One who qualified and bled to redeem our wretched souls from sin and certain damnation! Read Colossians 2 prayerfully every day this week!
God is calling out a remnant to truly follow Him according to His “daily” cross requirement (Luke 9:23-24). He is thereby raising up witnesses to bless the world with His love and truth (Acts 3:26; Romans 8:11; 2 Corinthians 4:10-12).
The Worship of Our Giving
The worship of our lives should be that firstly, they are laid down flat before Him who bled and rose again for our sins (John 12:23-25; Romans 12:1). This is truly abiding in Christ and when we are, there will be the fruit of giving our lives to others and to His blessed work (Read John 15:1-16). Jesus sent you on a mission – the Great Co-Mission – and not to establish yourself in this fleeting, sinful world (Matthew 28:18-20).
Do we give in order to get blessed, to get more material goods for us, or because it supposedly “works”? Or, do we give as part of our life’s worship? WHAT is the LORD Worth to You?
This week on Wednesday, I had to go to another town in the Greater Dallas area on a ministry excursion. While driving back, traveling up a certain busy street, I noticed a young man walking down the sidewalk towards the direction I was driving. The LORD deeply impressed my heart to visit with this man. My initial fleshly thought was “he may have a gun and also, maybe I need to give him the money in my pocket.” The Holy Spirit quickened to me that this young man was troubled and needed help (word of knowledge 1 Cor. 12:9-10). So, I swiftly did a u-turn and went and parked right where this young man would be passing as he walked. Parking in a parking lot in his path, I got out and leaned against my car with arms folded. As Farai walked by and looked up and saw me standing there, I said simply “The LORD told me to stop and talk with you.” Immediately he threw his head back and exclaimed “You have go to be kidding me!” Tears began flowing from his eyes as he related profusely how it must have been the LORD – it absolutely had to be – because as he was walking up that sidewalk, he was toiling and struggling in anguish with a temptation. Farai shared with me that he was about to do something “real bad.” Upon inquiry, Farai related that he had decided to commit a crime but was also saying “God show me a sign if you want to stop me.” He said he was going to commit a robbery or burglary in order to get some money. This man (24) is clearly not a bum. He’s very sharp yet was in a spiritual battle, one that was raging for his very soul and driving him to commit a crime, get killed, get arrested, and/or get thrown in jail. God intervened!!!!!!!
Farai told me that his parents are sincere, on-fire Christians and brought him up right but he had strayed. He told me they had just called him and told him they had prayed for him last night. Well, God heard their prayers! I preached the law to convict him of his sins and repentance and deep dying to self to Farai. He was buried in the truth as the Law and the cross were strongly presented to this young man as God was convicting him of his sins. By the LORD’s grace, it was a very firm and loving delivery. The LORD broke this man. After much speaking of the Word to him, I invited Farai to repent and lay down his life without reserve. He agreed. I then told him to put his elbows on the trunk of my car and bow down in humility. I stood next to him and informed him firmly that he would not be praying to me or any man but to the LORD and that the LORD was listening and was going to hear and save him. I instructed Farai to pray from the depth of his being, with everything that was within him. Farai repented as we prayed deeply. Farai called on the Father in repentance and weeping to forgive his many sins and take over his life completely. He submitted his life into God’s hands, crying “LORD, not my will be done but Thine be done!”
When we finished, Farai heard a lengthy message on getting into God’s Word daily, first thing, before anything else. He learned that victory only belongs to those who put God first place in their lives – literally! Defeat is the friend of all who don’t live in the Word!
After this he asked “Where do you go to church?” I told him that we are the church and it’s not somewhere you go and that Jesus says to “Follow Me daily.” I didn’t want this man trusting in a church and compartmentalizing his walk that way, becoming dependent on an hour or two on Sundays and Wednesdays. Local churches are not making disciples but rather just create good church members. They are not fulfilling a New Testament purpose and are misleading many. That is an abomination.
During this glorious interaction Farai thanked me profusely no less than twenty times. I just kept telling him how much the LORD loves and cares for him and that’s what all this means. I told him to go home and tell his precious parents and we prayed for his family.
Will you lift Farai up to our LORD today, tomorrow, and the next day? Just 3 days. Please pray the Holy Scriptures over this man’s life.
“Abide in the Ship” by Travis Bryan III “Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.” Acts 27:31
Read Acts 27:27–44. The story of the ship in this passage, although literally true, is also a figure or type of the story of the church and its doctrines of election and predestination. It is a picture of the church (the great ship) on its way to heaven. The ship is CHOSEN by God to be His very own vessel. Christ is the Captain and Pilot of this ship. All who desire to be part of this elect ship and its Captain can do so through a living faith in Christ, by which they come on board the ship. As long as they are on the ship, in company with the ship’s Captain, they are among the elect. If they choose to abandon the ship and Captain, they cease to be part of the elect. Election is always only in union with the Captain and His ship.
