True, Saving Grace Always Brings Certain Earmark Fruits in the Lives of those who Truly Possess it
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” Titus 2:11-15
SMH It’s amazing how that all of the self-proclaimed “grace teachers” conveniently, intentionally refuse to preach Titus 2:11-12. What Saving Grace Looks Like
The modern false grace message says that God did it all and that He requires but one moment of authentic faith and that that person is now saved for all eternity no matter what they choose to do with their lives – live holy and abiding in Christ or as the worst sinner in town (idolater, liar, drunkard, adulterer, fornicator, thief, etc.). Is this true?
“Grace does not give us a license to sin. God is Holy and he has called his people to live holy. Too many churches fail to address sin. Jesus came to save us from our sins. He didn’t come for us to pray a meaningless prayer and continue to walk in sin.” Tony C. Davis
The phony grace message of the evangelicals who follow Calvin instead of Christ, robs the fear of the LORD from the hearts of their gullible audience and lead them into a life of sin which means that they are not ready for the return and will be rejected as lukewarm …. Check what Jesus said out here in Luke 21:33-36:
“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:33-36
The Bible says that there is a war inside EVERY Christian, the spirit lusts or wars against the flesh and the flesh wars against the spirit (Gal. 5:17). See Galatians 6:7-9 also. Temptation is NOT sin. Entering into temptation is when a person freely chooses to sin (Matt. 26:41; James 1:13-15). Amen we are saved by His grace and if we are truly in His saving grace… See More, we are being taught by Him to be “denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” Read Titus 2:11-14 okay. Walking by faith, watching, praying, being vigilant, abiding, being willing and obedient, are essential to enduring to the end and being saved into Heavenly glory.
Righteousness can only come from “Jesus Christ the righteous” (1 Jn. 2:1). His righteousness can only be imputed (transferred to our account) as we repent and place our full faith in Him alone for salvation that He alone earned for us (Rom. 3:21-4:5; 5:17; 2 Cor. 5:21, etc.). God requires faith, not only to initially receive His imputed righteousness, but also ongoing to the end of one’s life or all is lost (Col. 1:23; Heb. 3:6, 12-14; 10:26-39, etc.). This is a doctrine the reformist/OSAS adherent completely denies and yet it is all over Scripture (Matt. 10:22; 24:13; Col. 1:23; Heb. 3:6, 12-14; 10:26-39; 2 Pet. 2:20-22; Rev. 2-3, etc.). The appropriation of His saving righteousness is only to those who truly believe into Jesus Christ and continue in that faith to the end. Many “fall away” (Lk. 8:13) or simply do not realize that their “faith” is not authentic, one that if it is real, which will always produce a life of good fruit, denying ungodliness and worldly lust and looking daily for the soon return of Jesus for those who are being washed by His Word, without spot and blemish (Matt. 7:13-29; Titus 2:11-12; Eph. 5:25-27; James 2:14-19; 1 John 3:3).
If we sin, we must repent and confess …. must keep that garment of His righteousness unspotted by continual cleansing in His blood. Memorize 1 John 1:7, 9
Saving grace always produces good fruit and good works and is proof one is saved – BUT good works and good fruit save no one – only Jesus can do that. See Matthew 3:7-10; Jude 3-4 and Titus 2:11-12.
A careful reading of the whole Counsel of Scripture will reveal that anyone not saved from living in sin, is not saved for eternal glory. Saved by grace does not mean saved and excused from the imperative of living holy. No, in fact, when we are saved by God’s enabling grace, we have His ability to overcome all that displeases Him and therefore have absolutely no excuse for living in sin! Praise God for forgiveness which was provided by Christ’s Perfect sacrifice! Do you have need of obeying 1 John 1:9 today? check this out … The Exceeding Riches of His Grace.
Works or fruit save no one and yet – goods works and good fruit ARE without fail produced in the life of every true, abiding disciple (John 15:1-6; Titus 1:16; 1 John 2:3-5) Any previously saved person who ceases to “abide” (remain) in Christ will forfeit his place with God and stands in danger of eternal hell fire (John 15:5) ….. What does the Bibles say are the works and fruit resident in every truly saved remnant disciple?
Just because Jesus paid the perfect price on the cross for our sins in no way negates the remainder of what the Son of God stated and commanded.
