“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
Only an antichrist denies the incarnation of the eternal Word…..Those who put more importance on the paganism in Christmas than on Christ Himself, are under the influence of “the spirit of antichrist” and deny that the Word came in the flesh (1 John 4:1-3). …. This time of year is a gift in that many antichrists in our midst are made manifest for us to see. Are you cleaning up your list?
Rich Brown writes: “This time of the year can be a wonderful season of repentance and expectation as we celebrate our Lord’s first advent in Bethlehem and anticipate His second advent when He return in glory. The gospel of Luke describes “the glory of the Lord” that shone around the shepherds when the angel announced the Savior’s birth (Luke 2:9). He also records Jesus promise that He will return “with great power and great glory” (21:27). These two events frame the purpose for which the Son of God came into the world. Christ has come! Christ is coming again! Why not use this time as an opportunity to spread His good news to the lost instead of bashing those who like to celebrate His Incarnation.”
THAT ONE EVENT CHANGED THE COURSE OF HUMAN HISTORY
by Angela Alatorre
Many want to deny the Incarnation of God in Jesus Christ. To deny such is to deny ONE of the foundational claims of our Christian faith. Without the Incarnation [virgin birth] there is NO REDEMPTION.
Without the manger there is no cross without the God-Man there is no hope of heaven. With His coming again the Kingdom of God will be fully present and the will of God will be fully accomplished on earth as it is even now in heaven.
The essential Doctrine of the Incarnation is Not Only Neglected by Christians Today, It is Under Attack By The Secular World And Even Some Christians.
The Bible is very clear! “….Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the >>flesh<< is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist.” (I John 4:1-3)
We should hardly be surprised that Satan would choose to give his best efforts at undermining the doctrine of the incarnation and His virgin birth. The birth of Christ is a joy to His people! Let no one steal your joy (John 15:11).
Jesus has always been, is now, and always will be, He existed before time. Jesus is fully and eternally God, the second member of the Trinity.
He is “The MYSTERY OF GODLINESS”
May we rejoice in “the riches of the glory of this mystery…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians:1:27)
