September 23 Rapture Deception

All around us we see false prophets use date-setting, manipulations, false predictions, and hysteria to deceive those who are not truly abiding soundly in Christ. This late hour is not the time to be doing anything except engaging in a grounded, cross-bearing, abiding, fruit-bearing relationship with Jesus Christ (John 15).

GOD is not going to tell you the exact day of Christ’s return. Repent and get over yourself!

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” Matthew 24:36

IF we could figure out the timeline/day of Christ’s return, WHY would Jesus ever have said this?: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” Matthew 24:36

Well, Christ told us this so we wouldn’t be misled by the many date-setting false prophets.

Here in Matthew 24:36 Jesus tells us that we cannot and will not know the exact day of His return. We are instructed repeatedly by Christ to live every single day as if He will return. It’s those who are not truly living for Christ daily – loving and worshiping Hm for who He is – that give ear to false prophets and cling to the date-setting hoaxes.

The LORD is not going to tell you the exact date of His return because He says you cannot please Him without faith – living by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 11:6. etc.). The only Heaven-bound saints live by faith and are denying themselves today, taking up their cross, and following Jesus (Luke 9:23-24). AND, if we knew the exact date of His return the counterfeits would wait till the day before to render some kind of repentance.

Daisy Taylor-Kelley writes: “….the Bible is very plain and specific about certain events which “must” take place before Christ returns for His elect, and those people predicting September, October raptures, etc, either don’t read their bible, and know God’s word, or they are simply speaking from their own flesh looking for recognition from man, both are bad.”

Cross-Less Counterfeits Exposed

Our eyes must be on Jesus perpetually, right? not overly enamored with or focused on mere signs but on the Savior.

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2

Those want to be convinced that Jesus is coming back on a certain day are Christ-denying, self-serving devils as described the Holy Spirit to us right here – watch v5 in particular:

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power (authority, reign of Christ in their person life) thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2 Timothy 3:1-7

Perhaps she captures a root cause for date-setters and ministries that spread confusion and hysteria when Elizabeth Tyrna notes:

Those false watchmen are the same who are distracted by the evils of this present world.”

“Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38  And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” Luke 12:35-40

When everyone thinks Jesus is coming on a certain day, what does that tell us? “when ye think NOT”“Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” (Luke 12:40)

If you’ve allowed yourself to be duped by yet another date-setter who claimed to have Scripture to “prove” he knew the exact day Jesus would return, it’s time to truly repent.

September 23rd has come and gone and should make it more than obvious that many had been deceived.

IS the “man of sin” revealed? No. Watch this:
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3

Times and Seasons

We know “the times and seasons” but not exact day of Christ’s return. Listen please:

“And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.” Acts 1:7

“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:1

We know this is the last hour but “NO MAN” or even angel in Heaven knows the hour or exact time of Christ’s return (Matthew 24:36).

“We should be living and working for Him regardless of when He returns! Be ready, always! Oh I so am beginning to understand how Jeremiah felt. Jeremiah 7:27. The ONLY important thing on this earth is preparing our hearts for Jesus. MATTHEW 7:14. Warning bells should be going off everywhere, but just as in the days of Noe.” Elizabeth Tyrna

Jesus says He is coming “when ye think not.”

“Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” Luke 12:40

We often see the false prophet date setters who draw people’s attention to themselves as they feign to have the return of Christ figured out. Whenever man has it supposedly figured out, remember the words of Christ concerning the timing of His return – “when ye think not.”

Only a counterfeit needs a certain date to “get his life right.” True Heaven-bound disciples follow Christ daily because they truly love Him above self. They know they are ready to meet Him at any moment – having their hand put to the plow of/and serving Him! Luke 9:62

Let’s let Jesus be the one true God that He is and take care of when He returns. Meanwhile, if we truly love Him, we will engage in an abiding relationship with our LORD and be about the Father’s business (Luke 2:49).

No grounded, abiding disciple of Jesus believes the rapture will occur 9-23.

The true disciple of Christ is too busy worshiping, following, and obeying Jesus to concern himself with date-setting false prophets.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS TO DO while waiting for Jesus: James 5:7-9; Luke 9:62; 19:13

“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62

Jesus already gave us the sign we need.

Date setting, sign seeking people simply refuse to truly submit to Christ and will not be ready when He returns. “But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:” (Matthew 12:39) The sign of Jonah was already given us 2,000 years ago. Now let us truly repent and follow that nail scarred risen LORD and Savior.

Who did Jesus tell us seeks a sign?

“An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign.” Matthew 12:39

Signs are Biblical and have a divine purpose and yet are many times misused.

There is something fundamentally wrong in the heart of the person who has to have a sign to motivate him to worship obey and serve the Lord.

The point is that though the prophesied signs quicken us, these should simply cause us to be hastened even more toward holiness in light of Christ’s soon return.

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” 2 Peter 3:10-14

“Excellent! Shout out the truth of living every day to please God (and not man), and looking for the return of Christ. Was just reading Scriptures this a.m. about the importance of ‘following’ Jesus–taking up our cross and FOLLOWING Him.” Debbie Lord

“In the Olivet discourse Jesus warned most about deception in the last days.  Boy oh boy, was He right!  Praise God!  People, people study to show thyself approved!  Read and study for YOURSELVES, quit depending on fallible men to tell you what God is saying.  The Holy Spirit is the ONLY one who can interpret scripture for you!” Elizabeth Tyrna

People over react to every leaf that falls! I don’t think GOD made things so complicated that HE gave us a puzzle to try to figure out! Look around at what is going on and know the signs of the time! Just have to make ourselves ready!” Louise Scarborough

Same thing year after year. Sept false prophecies.” Sherry Todd

“I am in the whatever tribulation, long as JESUS is there I don’t care Amen! Grace Grace God’s Grace greater than all we’ll ever face Amen! It matters not when He comes, what matters is will you be looking and expecting His return and be ready for His appearing when he does? “People get ready JESUS is coming” “Soon we’ll be Going Home” “People get ready JESUS is coming” “To take from the world His Own.” Brother Charles Pray.
