Piercing the Darkness with His Light

WHEN there’s a crisis, Christ is at hand to pour out His love and mercy. – “grace did much more abound” (Romans 5:20). Where there’s true repentance and faith, there will always be divine grace abounding! The darker the day, the crisis, the season, the brighter Christ’s light shines!

When the light of divine truth fills our own lives, it will be resident to be shone unto others.

Each of us has darkness in our hearts until it is vanquished by the light – the light of divine truth flooding our hearts daily as we turn on the flood light of God’s Word, shining it into hearts as we pour over His words!

“Let Your Light So Shine.” Matthew 5:16

GOD didn’t send us to marvel at all the increasing darkness of this world. No, in fact, He warned us it would be this way before His return, and yet, commanded that we “Preach the gospel to every creature” as we eagerly await His soon return (Mark 16:15-20). Why curse the darkness when we can obey Jesus by shining His light into the midst of it?

TELLING THE TRUTH THAT OFFENDS AND UPENDS HYPOCRITES IS PURE CHRISTLIKENESS! (Matthew 21; 23; John 2, 8, etc.) IN FACT, YOU KNOW THE LIGHT OF TRUTH HIT A DARKENED HEART WHEN THEY ATTACK YOU!!! REJOICE! Matt 5:10-12

“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12

“There is a glow and a spiritual fragrance about the life of a person who is Spirit filled that is unlike anything found in natural man. The beauty of divine holiness ought to be radiated from all Christians. It is always seen in the lives of those who are truly controlled by the Spirit.” G. Christian Weiss, Insights into Bible Times and Customs

YOU are called to expose darkness! Obey Jesus now! (Ephesian 5:11) DID GOD ever tell you to have mercy on Satan or go easy on him? NO! And He never will! Shine the light of Satan’s human agents! (Ephesians 5:11) Turn the light lose on the prince of darkness and watch him run like a roach!

ANYthing and ANYone being used of Satan to deceive this generation is fair game for the body of Christ to expose – in ANY realm of society! Turn on the light saints – by preaching the light of holy truth! Unleash the power of the convicting Law and saving Gospel of Christ! “Preach the Word” and “rejoice” when you are persecuted for it! (Matthew 5:10-12; 2 Timothy 4:2)

YOU will never discern and overcome the prince of darkness as long as you remain in darkness! (John 3:19-21; Ephesians 5:7-12)

May God vanquish all darkness in our own hearts, filling, flooding us with His holy light.

“Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!” John 1:47

“HAVING NO PART DARK”

“If thy whole body therefore be full of light, HAVING NO PART DARK, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.” Luke 11:36

WHERE EVER you see Satan’s agents, expose them!

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove (expose, shine the light on) them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Ephesians 5:11

WHENEVER you shine the light on the devil and his deeds of darkness and dark human agents, it’s a divine mission of mercy to help those who choose to have eyes to see what’s really going on! It’s time to turn on the flood lights!

It’s to Satan’s advantage that his human agents are kept hidden. What will you do about that? (Genesis 3:1; 2 Corinthians 2:11; 1 Peter 5:8, etc.)

You are here in part to expose the works of darkness in order to help those trapped in it to be delivered! Ephesians 5:11

Satan’s agents are simply those doing his work-stealing, killing, destroying! John 10:10

ANY “light” that is not Jesus Christ according to the record of Holy Scripture, is a false light being perpetrated by the agents of Satan (John 8:12). These are the most subtle, insidious sheep’s clothing clad wolves in our midst – as Jesus specifically warns us (Matthew 7:15). JESUS CHRIST IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD AND THERE IS NO OTHER LIGHT, LORD, OR SAVIOR (John 8:12).

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

—– SO, is God more glorified when His children (or those claiming to be) protest paganism OR when they use this time of the year when there are many gatherings, to shine the light of Christ’s Gospel into the hearts of fallen men? … In the divine economy, is it holy to 1) protest Christmas, or, 2) to be the “ambassador” all new creatures in Christ are to be? (2 Corinthians 5:17-20)

Are you baptized with the Holy Ghost? (Acts 1:8) If not, you are not YET equipped by God to do His work. The LORD desires to baptize with his holy Spirit. HOLY GHOST BAPTISM

Is God proud of us when we protest Christmas? OR, is He angry with us when we are not using this as another occasion to shine His light into the darkness?

GOD alone pulls back the veil that blinds when the individual turns his heart to the LORD in repentance – 2 Corinthians 3:14-18.

So you see that most of Christmas is pagan? That doesn’t make you smart because such is obvious. In fact, all the world is in wickedness and paganism – 24/7/365 – not just in December!

There is no hint of justifying or condoning or partaking of sin. No, darkness is to be exposed – God’s way! The way of Heaven’s Chief Ambassador – the very Captain of our salvation! (Hebrews 2:10) …. Oh and actually, perhaps the worst sin is when God’s own people refuse to obey Him and get caught in the trap of simply protesting everything…. and do nothing to bear fruit by getting sinners saved. That’s what we call the Great Commission.

Could there be in us an evil sense of self-righteousness when we condemn others, vainly believing that makes us righteous or holy?

Did Jesus come to the earth to condemn and protest sinners OR did He come to save them?

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17

Jesus saves. That’s exactly what He came to do. That’s exactly why He saved and sent us.

“As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” John 20:21

Did Christ come and curse the darkness? Or, did He come as “the light of the world” to shine His holy light into the darkened hearts of men and save them into His eternal family?

Is the Son of God surprised at a world of sinners He personally came and died for? Did Jesus protest paganism when He came?

If Jesus didn’t, could this not be a message to us? Could this not reveal that protesting can be counter-productive?

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10

Are we surprised that sinners sin or live in perpetual sin? Well that’s all sinners can do is sin … until a saint communicates Christ’s glorious, saving Gospel so they can repent and believe on Him.

Why would any mature disciple of Jesus be surprised at sin in this fallen world? Don’t we live in a world of sinners and are we not here to give them the only Solution?

Food for thought: Do you know of anyone who ever got saved due to the protesting of Christians?

Please pray and listen to our LORD’s message here below. What is He seeking to convey to our hearts in these words?

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-16

Many today boast in what they DON’T do. Yet, we must ask ourselves, JUST WHAT am I DOING in obedience to the LORD I claim to serve?

“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” Luke 6:46

Did Jesus ever say anything like, “Go ye into all the world and protest sin and sinners”? No.

Instead, Christ came and died for us – sinners – and then sent us to reach our world of sinners.

It is astounding how many professing Christians have nothing more than protests in their hearts and lives. They judge and condemn others and yet do nothing to seek out and get saved those who are lost. This is very ugly in the eyes of God. Their “righteousness” is completely false and self-centered. If they were truly in Christ’s cross, a resurrecting power from on High would be impelling them to do what Jesus sent His people to do – “GO ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

Do we call Jesus’ command the Great Commission or the Great Protest?

If Christ would have protested sinners and a sinful world, He would never have come to pay the price to make saints out of sinners. If He had protested He’d have done nothing to solve that dilemma. Do we produce any fruit by protesting? OR, are we fruitful when we obey Christ and “Go”? (Mark 16:15-20; John 4:35-38)

Have you led anyone to Jesus lately?

—- Protest or Preach? Did the earliest saints protest or preach Christ, His Word, and His Gospel? It’s sad to see that so many are identified by what they are against instead of being identified with Christ by preaching Christ and His glorious Gospel.  Preaching, not Protesting!
