OSAS was never taught by Jesus or His apostles and so it’s sheer error to believe such – “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matt. 10:22; 24:13) << HERE Jesus was speaking to His own and so how could this mean there are no conditions? How could Jesus mean anything except what His stated?
“Anybody who tells you Salvation cannot be lost..you simply reply back REPENT YOU LIAR ..and it’s all done !” Mikael Mirashaj
Jesus says to each of the 7 CHURCHES that only those who overcome will be with Him eternally – “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:” Revelation 2:26
“Lots of people won’t accept Jesus because they don’t want to do what He says. The ones that believe OSAS are just like them. They don’t want to do what Jesus said. Or put it this way to give them a little slack. They don’t want to HAVE TO DO what Jesus said!” Karen Graves
Jesus invented the term “fall away” and so to say you can’t is to call Him a liar. Read Luke 8:13. Also, Paul wrote: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; ” 1 Timothy 4:1-2
Are you going to go by what you think or by what God’s Word say? Jn 8:47 …. The truth-seeking true disciple of Jesus will always sacrifice a false notion on the altar of God’s Word.
“If we are truly born again THEN WE CAN NEVER DIE, this is true eternal life.”
Not true. By saying this, you have just said that OSAS is true when it’s a lie. The wages of sin is DEATH – dying. If a born again Christian goes back to sin he dies spiritually. To say otherwise is to deny that God is Holy and fellowships with sinful people. See Rom 6:16, 23 Oh and notice what we read in Luke 15 in the story of the prodical son – “alive AGAIN” …
Please cease promulgating this calvinistic “perseverance of the saints” lie.
To say a born again Christian can never sin means he has no free will. False. To say a born again Christian, who is free to sin or live righteously, doesn’t die spiritually when he sins (especially habitually), is to say that God is no longer “Holy, holy, holy.” (Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8)
“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.” Ezekiel 18:30
