“For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” Isaiah 9:16 (KJV)
Is Lance Wallnau preaching the original Gospel found on the pages of the New Testament Scriptures? Or, is he preaching some other gospel? The answer is obvious to any true student of Holy Scripture.
God-less wolves are bringing this man and his false teachings into the churches. These hirelings are clearly lost souls, otherwise they would be feeding and guarding the flock of the LORD who shed His precious blood to purchase His church (Acts 20:20-32; 1 Peter 5:1-6).
Lance Wallnau is teaching convergence, law of attraction, and many other New Age occultic teachings.
Did Jesus Christ or His holy apostles ever speak of conquering the seven mountains of society? No! So, is Wallnau teaching a different gospel than Christ and His apostles?
If Lance Wallnau is not preaching that men should repent and turn to the LORD, calling upon Him to be saved, Wallnau is a false teacher as would be the case with anyone. “Repent” is the very first word and command of the true Gospel and entrance into the kingdom of God (Matthew 3:2; 4:17; Acts 3:19, etc.).
Wallnau is saying that he goes to other nations and teaches “leadership principles,” acting as if that is going to change lives for eternity or Christ’s glory. Did Jesus say He came to help people become better in leadership principles, or did Jesus come to save sinners?
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10
The message of John the Baptist and Jesus was “Repent” and not “come here and let’s learn some leadership principles.” Unregenerate man needs salvation which comes when true disciples communicate the Law and Gospel of Christ.
Is it truly amazing how much spiritual poison some people are willing to swallow from a mere man whom they have attached their affections to. It is mind boggling to see how some who claim to be Christians ignore, shun, set aside, and reject Christ’s words and gullibly buy into the messages of the wolves Jesus so often warned us to beware of.
“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:6-9
Paul the apostle says here that any person not preaching the original Gospel given us in God’s Word, is “accursed.”
Who will you trust? Who will you believe? Who will you bend your ear to? Are you personally in God’s Word daily? Or, are you following false prophets to eternal damnation, all the while believing you are saved? Any person who is not born again and in God’s Word daily is and will be deceived.
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” Matthew 7:13-20
“Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:3-7
Jesus sure did tell us to do those things but not in the context Wallnau is putting them in. He rarely mentions Scripture.
The LORD baptized me with the Holy Ghost 26 years ago and has blessed with the FRUIT (most important), gifts, and miracles.
Where did Jesus or His holy apostles ever approach ministry using the 7 mountains? Where? Chapter and verses please?
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;” 1 Tim 4:1-2 (KJV)
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1 (KJV)
Is Lance W. simply preaching the words of Scripture? No. Almost never does he use Scripture which tells you he is not teaching what Jesus and His apostles taught and gave us in God’s Word, namely the 27 books of the New Testament canon of Holy Scripture. On this basis alone we know Wallnau is counterfeit. But it goes much deeper and here are some links …..
