"Hello Todd, Today I was having a conversation with someone at my job. I made a statement that Oprah Winfrey is wrong by telling others in one of her TV shows that Jesus isnt the only way. I was told that "I was being judgemental; that scripture says we shouldn't judge".

I countered by quoting the scripture "you will know them by their fruit" Matt 7:16 and 'The watchman" Ezekiel 33:6. I was told that I was taking both scripture verses out of context.

Todd, I feel that since Oprah reaches millions of people, that she is 100% wrong by saying that Jesus isnt the only way. Many people will listen to her because of her influence. Also just what did Jesus mean when he said "dont judge others". Was he talking about matters of the heart or what. I dont want to judge, so how do I express my points without being judgmental. Thanks brother Lemuel. It is a blessing to see our LORD using you to engage others in talks about our Maker and His way to Him and His Heaven. Amen Jesus!

Now, to address the questions .........

As you know ....... First and foremost, GOD IS THE JUDGE - not us! Now with that in mind, WHAT DID THE JUDGE TELL US IN HIS HOLY WORD? Has the Almighty spoken? Yes, that why He gave us His Word, so we would know ...... and His Word that will soon judge us all, is clear ...

- that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to Him/Heaven (John 14:6; 1 Tim. 2:5; Acts 4:12)

- that we are to "know (discern) them by their "FRUITS" (Matt. 7:16-20)

- That we are to help others get the splinter out of their eyes after Christ gets the log out of our own eye (Matt. 7:1-6)

Oprah Winfrey is antichrist and so is any person or leader who denies Jesus Christ by saying/implying that He lied to the world He created when He told us He is the only way to God and to miss hell, and go to His holy Heaven (John 14:1-6). Oprah and all antichrists are thieves and robbers according to the Son of God - the seek to steal the glory due Him alone who bled in the place of every sinner (see John 10:1-2).

"Judge not" - After many times hearing this Scripture misused - lifted out of its context - I began to pray and continued to search the Scriptures for God's answer. The Holy Spirit (I believe) gave me some insight that has defeated every ensuing conversation where this smokescreen arose. When the "judge not" smokescreen comes up, I usually say something like:

"Firstly, no sinner in history needs God's forgiveness through Jesus’ precious sinless blood more than this one - and yet we have ALL sinned against God who told us that He is "holy , holy, holy." It's not MY judgment or yours that matters, but rather the judgment of THE JUDGE HIMSELF! Oh, and what did our Judge say? He said that He is not "a" way but rather "THE way." (John 14:6) He also said that we have "ALL sinned" against Him by ...... (give them some of the 10 Commandments and then grace only after the law of God begins to do it's essential preparatory work of deep conviction)"

Do you see how this can turn into and opportunity by getting the conversation and other person on track with the truth? God is so good!

In Matthew 7:1-6, Jesus is speaking about condemning others in the sense of final judgment, which only HE has the right and place to render. But, pointing out things that do not align with His Word is not the judgment He spoke of here.

What is utterly interesting is that this person who threw that Scripture (misusing it) up in your face does not even believe the Bible and yet is now quoting it to you. Isn't that interesting and hypocritical.

Here is a brief and interesting conversation that occurred this morning with a lady named Jackie who is not yet saved.  Please lift her in prayer to be brought by the LORD to repentance and saving faith in Christ.

Before you read this, ask yourself: What is satan's favorite verse to use against believers? You will see it used in this conversation by this lady. The enemy knows and twists God's Word, using his people to misuse the Scriptures.

Jackie: wet!!!  Been out in the rain for the past few hours doing home visits!!!!
Jackie: How are you?

Jackie: I work for a private gov't contractor that takes some of the state contracts to work

Jackie: I currently work with pregnant teens and children that don't have health care

Jackie: The girls are usually very pregnant when they get to me and just needing resources

Jackie: I give them resources on how to get prenatal care and how to care for themselves financially  ect

todd tomasella: and that we understand that abortion is cold-blooded, premeditated murder of innocent human lives, precious babies

todd tomasella: He sent His people to "preach the Word" so others can be forewarned that Judgment Day is coming
todd tomasella: and the fires of eternal damnation await all who do not repent and receive Jesus - our only hope
todd tomasella: it's love not hate ..... it is the worst form of hate to just watch friends go to hell without warning them
