God’s Love in Us

God’s LOVE in us is the clear proof we are truly His. No love, no salvation. If there is a lack of love in our lives, this reveals we do not know Him who “is love.”

“He that loveth not knoweth not God.” 1 John 4:8

Begin to study all that Holy Scripture reveals about God’s love. What does it look like? 1 Corinthians 13.

“Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.” 1 John 5:1 (KJV)

This truth makes it clear that all who know the LORD love His other children. What is love and how does it manifest itself? 1 John is a book filled with answers to this important question. So is James 2 and 5.

If we are students of the LORD, we are students of and learning of His love. He “is love” and as we move into Him yet more and more, seeking His holy face, His love is going to permeate and radiate from our lives! Read and meditate upon this magnificent wisdom:

“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16

According to the above verse, are you becoming one with Christ and walking in His blessed love?

Are you walking in God’s love, the fruit of which is defined in 1 Corinthians 13 and elsewhere in Holy Scripture?
