Fun and Foolish “Pastors”

SO you are still drawn to ministries which promise you "eternal security" while you live in sin and speak of success and waste your time talking about coping band aids for life's issues while refusing to preach the cross? This shows a lack of repentance. This reveals the worship of sinful self - the worship of self instead of the Savior! SUCCESS as defined by God: You lay down your life in this world and let Jesus reign supreme in your life! BAMMMM Beware of the epidemic of cross-less, Christ-denying wolves! ——THE “GOOD GUY”? Maybe not.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?” Matthew 7:13-16

We see here in our LORD’s words (above) that most are going to hell and that we are to “Beware” of the leaders who have come in His holy name and invaded the church world. They can be known by the fruit of their message.

In other words they never preach the cross of Christ’s redeeming blood and THIS SAME SAVIOR’s condition of death to self to any person who would serve Him (Luke 9:23-24). If you support these devils, you are going to hell and the lake of fire with them! (2 Peter 2:1-3; 2 John 10-11). YOU have only been deceived by these devils because you have refused to study God’s Word diligently and daily and sincerely for yourself (2 Timothy 2:15). God is calling you to repent now! IS THE GOSPEL JUST FUN AND GAMES? You would think so by the content of the messages some preach. Is the guy that always has the encouraging word the good guy? Maybe not.

HAVE you ever noticed that in an effort to farm their communities (online and locally), the seeker friendly, personal kingdom builder “pastors” ALWAYS have something “encouraging” to say and never preach the hard truths and conditions all over the pages of Holy Scripture? It seems that they want to be the “good guy.” They wish to come off as always positive and be viewed as the go-to guy, the guy who is always happy and jolly and encouraging. Yet, is it possible that they could be ushering their audiences down the broad way that leads to eternal destruction? (Matthew 7:13-14) When we hear all these cross-less messages about “God has a plan for you and there’s nothing you are going through that He’s not going to be victorious over” and no daily cross messages, no personal holiness, no return of Jesus, no judgment to come message, a deep concern should occur in us. Red flags flying! Scam alert. Wolf Alert.

“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10
 
Those who truly serve the LORD Jesus Christ, care only to be popular with Him. They understand that their LORD promises that if people hated Him, they will hate, despise, reject, shun, and curse who who truly know Him (Matthew 5:10-12; Luke 6:22; John 7:7; 15:20; 2 Timothy 3:12, etc.).
 
Here’s a mere taste of what man-pleasing beguiler wolves refuse to acknowledge or preach:
 
Jesus promised: “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 10:22) Ever hear these flattering circus conductors mention these words of Jesus? Or, are they conveniently an intentionally ignoring and dodging these type statements from the Son of God? After all, they have cherry picked and siphoned a verse they take out of context which is found deep into the Old Testament Scriptures. So why and how could they possibly have missed verses like Matthew 10:22 which appears in the very first book of the New Testament canon? …within the first 10 chapters of the New Testament canon? How? Why?
 
Is someone trying to play a trick on us?
 
These type beguilers are plentiful today as they were in Paul’s day:
 
“For we are not as MANY, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 2:17
 
In fact, we are warned that their will be more false leaders today than in any other day:
 
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:13
 
The Bible repeatedly informs us that deceivers seek to use people for their own self-serving advantage (2 Peter 2, etc.).
 
These false leaders “allure (lure in and seduce) through the lusts of the flesh” and promise a heavenly crown without a cross. Read 2 Peter 2 closely. These are the very “enemies of the cross of Christ” Paul warned us about (Philippians 3:18-19). Beware saints.
 

If you are listening to messages and are never rebuked and convicted about the cutting edge of divine truth, you may wish to step back and examine just what is going on. Oh and please “search the scriptures daily” to do so (Acts 17:10-11). God wants us to migrate to the hard truth – to lay down our lives, denying self, taking up the cross daily, and truly following Jesus and not mere sinful man.

Another pervading seduction is the notion that living in sin is permissible. Yet, God’s Word promises:

“And they that are Christ’s HAVE crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Galatians 5:24

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 1 John 3:3-10

“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:10-13

“But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” Ephesians 5:3-6

This is a mere sampling of Bible passages which are seldom if ever heard in local churches today. Who is the one who wishes to hide divine truth from you? What is the agenda? Are you truly and diligently studying the whole counsel of God’s Word? See 2 Timothy 2:15.

The servant leader who is truly in Christ and therefore in His will, will feed the flock with the full counsel of God’s Word and nothing short of it all (Acts 20:20, 27).

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Jeremiah 3:15

Knowing that he shall stand before the Almighty to give account, the true under-shepherd is known by his obedience to preach the whole Word of God and to “reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.” Let us listen to the apostle:
