THE ALMIGHTY does not need any mere man's puny, no-count permission to do as HE pleases. Under the New Covenant He killed Ananias and Saphira, and king Herod (Acts 5; 12:23). We'd better not attempt to interfere with the chastening, judging hand of the LORD Almighty. Do you understand what He stated about church discipline? We'd better get on HIS page at once. When did the fornicator in the Corinthian church repent? He repented only after the believers obeyed God by rejecting him (1 Cor. 5; 2 Cor. 2). We are not wiser than God and any "love" that is not coming straight out of the instructions of His Word, is clearly false love and the very kisses of an enemy (Prov. 27:5-6). We must cease acting as if God has no order/discipline/restoration tactics in His house (among His people). We only understand true, divine love inasmuch as we understand what He who "is love" has stated between Genesis and Revelation (1 John 4:8, 16). Recently, among the many ministered to daily, I've had 2-3 men seek to correct me about something concerning the LORD and yet these same men, upon examination, had no Scripture or anything about Jesus on their internet platforms. See Matt. 7:1-6; Gal. 6:1-2. It became evident that they weren't even born again or had since backslidden and were apostate (1 Tim. 4:1). Interesting. It's always amazing when someone comes to correct another person and yet is not correctable themselves. We all need correction and to grow in Christ's grace but there is biblical protocol for this and it begins with our own lives being broken, humbled, and obedient to Jesus. God will never send someone to correct another whose personal life is not obedient. The LORD will never contradict Himself. Church Discipline and Correction God's Way - please share saints.
