Are You Ready to Meet Jesus?

The King is Coming and He is Watching How We are Treating Our “Fellowservants”

YOU CAN STUDY, FOLLOW, AND KNOW EVERY END TIME MYSTERY OF PROPHETIC SIGNIFICANCE AND ARE GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL IF YOU AREN’T ABIDING IN CHRIST, LIVING A LIFE OF CONSECRATED PRAYER! Luke 21:34-36

“But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.” Psalms 4:3

END TIMES – I’M NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH ANYONE ABOUT JUST EXACTLY HOW IT’S GOING TO ALL UNFOLD. JESUS IS COMING AND HE COMMANDED US SO VERY MANY TIMES TO “BE YE THEREFORE READY ALSO FOR THE SON OF MAN COMETH IN AN HOUR THAT YE THINK NOT.” (LUKE 12:40) SOME IN OUR MIDST ARE SO FOCUSED ON THE EVENTS AND THE SIGNS THAT THEY HAVE LOST SIGHT OF THE SAVIOR. THAT MEANS THEY ARE NOT READY TO MEET HIM. IN FACT, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO SPEND THEIR DAYS, HOURS, AND LIVES TRACKING ALL THE SIGNS OF CHRIST RETURN WHO WILL SPEND ETERNITY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE.  PASS THIS ON.

WHAT percentage of today’s local churches mention that Jesus is coming, urging all hearers to repent and remain “ready”? My guess is less than 5%. Yours?

Did Jesus teach specifics on being “ready” for His return? Yes.

Jesus’ teachings in the latter part of Matthew 24 and throughout Matthew 25 are warning those He once saved not to “depart from the faith.” (1 Timothy 4:1-3) But what does Jesus use as a measurement? What is the indication that a person who once served Christ is no longer doing so? Did Jesus say anything about “missing church”? Did He speak of “attending church services”? No.

“Fellowservants” are all other servants of Christ other than yourself.  Sundoulos is the Greek word from which we get “fellowservants” and means ministrant of the same master.

Make no mistake: Those who love God, love His children:

“Whosoever believe that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.” 1 John 5:1

If we are truly known of God, who “is love,” His love is clear and obvious and tangible in our personal lives. Where ever God is, there will be God’s love.

“We love him, because he first loved us. 20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.” 1 John 4:19-21

IN THIS LATE HOUR, IN THEIR HEARTS, MANY WHOM JESUS HAS AT SOME POINT IN THE PAST SAVED, HAVE SAID IN THEIR HEARTS, “MY LORD DELAYETH HIS COMING.”

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken (cease to be sanctified); 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 24:44-51

Here in this teaching, Jesus is speaking about being a  “a faithful and wise servant,” (v45) especially in light of being “ready” for the “hour” that “the Son of man cometh.”

The clear proof that a person who was once saved has departed from Christ is that he is not charitably loving Jesus’ saints and is now drifting from fellowship with the remnant and has now begun to “eat and drink with the drunken.” (v49)

“Evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1 Corinthians 15:33

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers … ” 2 Corinthians 6:14

But just what constitutes “smiting his fellowservants”? What type treatment reveals that a person is afflicting, mistreating, or “smiting his (Christ’s) fellowservants”?

We will discover that both commission and omission are involved here in “smiting” or neglecting and abusing others who serve Jesus. The Son of God defines the mistreatment of the righteous in this even-flow transmission of His teaching:

“And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Matthew 25:33-46

Jesus never spoke of that mindset which is completely out of step with true, New Testament Christianity which is a “daily” denying of self, taking up the cross, and following Christ (Luke 9:23-24). Wolves have well trained their gullible sheep to show up and to give up some money. They are not preparing the LORD’s people to meet Him but rather are building their church business. They therefore measure things by nickels, noses, and numbers. They basically tell those who follow them instead of Christ that “everything’s going to be alright. As long as you patronize this little church business we have going here, you are eternally secure.”

YOU SEE, HIRELING WOLVES COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE LORD AND YOUR ETERNAL SOUL. THEY “MIND EARTHLY THINGS” AND ARE THE VERY “ENEMIES OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST.” PAUL TOLD US THAT THEIR “GOD IS THEIR BELLY.” (PHILIPPIANS 3:18-19) JESUS NEVER SPOKE OF HIS RETURN AS SOMETHING TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY AND ANY MAN WHO NEGLECTS THIS CARDINAL NEW TESTAMENT TEACHING OF JESUS CHRIST, IS A WOLF (2 CORINTHIANS 5:11; 2 PETER 2-3; REVELATION 2-3). IN FACT CHRIST SAID “STRIVE (AGONIZE) TO ENTER IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: FOR MANY, I SAY UNTO YOU, WILL SEEK TO ENTER IN, AND SHALL NOT BE ABLE.” (LUKE 13:24)

FURTHERMORE, GOD’S WORD PROMISES THAT ALL WHO ARE “LUKEWARM” AND “AT EASE IN ZION,” WILL BE SPEWED OR CAST OUT OF THE ETERNAL KINGDOM OF THE LORD (AMOS 6:1; REVELATION 3:15-16).

The Body of Christ is the LORD’s “Precious Fruit of the Earth”

God’s people are the very “apple of his eye.” (Deuteronomy 32:10) Each of His children are of the utmost importance to Him. Are they important to you?

“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth (remnant body of Christ), and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.” James 5:7-9

“Stablish your hearts” – Those whose hearts are being daily established in the LORD – in His love and “sound doctrine” – will treat correctly the other members of the LORD’s body.

Remember the two commandments Jesus gave that summed up the law?

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

1) “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”

2) “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

We already love ourselves. Such comes naturally. Yet, Jesus commands us to “love thy neighbour as thyself.” In other words, we are to love our neighbor (all others) with the same love we have for ourselves. Isn’t this the Golden Rule? – “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 7:12)

Are you walking in love the way God defines it? (1 Corinthians 13)

Has “the deceitfulness of sin” lured and entrapped you? (Hebrew 3:12-15)

Are you depending on others to bring a pep rally to you? Or, do you take personal responsibility to seek the face of Jesus daily in prayer and in His Word?

Are you living for His soon return?

Will you be ready or caught off guard?

Beware of the Many False Watchmen!

Jesus warned:

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” Matthew 24:11

MANY are enamored with and carried away with the messages of false watchmen and will not be “ready” when Christ returns. They are more interested in listening to the latest video of their favorite false watchmen who is selling his wares and not grounding his listeners in Christ! Run!

What good would it be to believe you have all the finer points of the end of the world figured out and yet miss Christ?

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36

It simple doesn’t matter if you think you have the end times timeline and other details figured out. If you aren’t grounded and seeking face of the Creator of all that is, the soon returning Son of God, you are going to spend eternity in the lake of fire.

“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36
